  1. If you’re looking for something to play after Cyberpunk, then I have to recommend the Red Dead series. Strange as it sounds, play 2 before 1 as it’s a prequel and, in my opinion, the best game of all time by a wide margin

Edit Never mind, you’ve already played it 😂

  2. You weren't supposed to "interact" with them. You needed to let them finish speaking. And then find out that they're actually pretty chill dudes. Damn Mazo. Cold.

I'm kidding of course, you play how you want, but I'm gonna guess and chalk it up to your time away from the game and maybe forgetting how standoffs work in this game: keep your distance, wait for dialogue, and most importantly, DONT MOVE AN INCH or else they take it as an act of aggression.

Just something to remember for the next one lol.

Also, yeah, they actually reused a lot of lines in this game, most of all between Johnny and V. "Gotta bad feeling V", "well well well", "ooohhh V…" and "what's this?" to name a few off the top of my head. Once you hear it after your second playthrough, you can never unhear it, and you realize just how much they do it too.

  3. I highly recommend, if you haven't yet, watching the official cinematic trailer for Phantom Liberty, to get a quick bit of background on So Mi and Reed. It's enlightening, and an amazingly animated CG trailer. Makes me want a Cyberpunk movie animated like it every time I watch it.

  4. btw the cinematic trailer for this dlc is awesome and shows some of the backstory behind it but i would'nt recommend watching it until after you've spent a few missions with reed as it can give some hints to the twists in the story

  5. If you haven't watched the trailer for this DLC, you may want to check it out at some point. Obviously you can watch it before playing but it shows you an event that will be referenced at certain points in the story if you want that little bit of extra context. It's also hella pretty.

(Also, you can find Reed's character in Night City at one of the clubs working the door before you even play this DLC. Cool little easter egg.)

  6. Yussss! Finally!! So happy you posted these Maz! Edit: I love that you sent the mood for yourself by watching Escape From New York prior to playing PL, that's marvelous, how did you think to do that?

  7. A game i suggest would be Life is Strange! Though its not first person nor super action/combat based, its a single player story/action, semi open world based game. you can explore quite a bit and have a lot of world building and tons of good dialogue! (the game was made in 2013 so the dialogue is a bit cringy at times bc of that) it also has a really fun element like rewind powers for the main character (aka u) its not fast but not super slow paced, honestly i think you might like it!

  8. Anyone know if Mazo is running off her existing save file or is playing from the "Start from Phantom Liberty" option? There's a lot of fun little stuff that you only get access to if you're playing on an existing character.

  9. Yeah, that Chimera fight is a toughie for everybody. I was late game OP by the time I took it on — rocking a smart weapons build — and it still took awhile to put it down. It was fun though!

  10. Phantom Liberty is a really good DLC, they have done such a great job in setting up a spy thriller tone on the history, in the midst of so many groups and interests, it really makes you feel that nobody can be fully trusted, from now on things are about to get crazy… Game Recomendations: Resident Evil(2,4 & 7 are the best), Nier Automata, Yakuza 0, Final Fantasy (VII & X) and Persona 5.
