  1. Best cyberware: for all builds is the double jump/jump boost. Reinforced tendons I think. It makes navigation easier in general, and also allows alternate entrances (second floor window, hop over fence, etc.).

about the Arasaka aircraft career. So, cyberpunk's USA is not present day USA 50 years later. The timeline is different since the late 80's I think.
What is important here is that there is the "New United States", aka NUSA, which is centered around the center and east coast of present day USA. NUSA is basically a puppet for Militech.
There are also the "free states" Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, NEvada, New MExico, Night City, Oregon, Texas, Washingon, Wyoming.
Former free states, which were conquered by NUSA in a war, or decided to not fight: Southern Califonia, North Dakota, South Dakota, Utah.
Free states are… mostly free, but to stand up against Militech/NUSA, they requested aid from Arasaka. Arasaka is like a nemesis of Militech in lore. That is the reason why Arasaka, a japanese company has such influence on the west coast, and especially Night City.

  2. I'm so used to seeing one hour to hour-and-a-half long videos when people play Cyberpunk, it's a little jarring to see it end after 30 to 40 minutes.
About the clip you played at the start. It's never made quite clear in conversations in the game, besides things like that radio DJ broadcast (though I may be wrong), but there is a lot of resentment between Militech and Arasaka. Can't remember why, and like you've seen this game has a lot of lore to read through, so it may be on a shard somewhere that I don't know about. Part of it, I think has to do with the fact that California (where Night City is located) and other parts of the USA as we know it, split off to become a Free State, with Militech on one side and Arasaka supporting California. Militech – with Meyers as the leader – is in charge of the NUSA (New United States of America) and Arasaka is a major corp in Night City and the surrounding area.

  3. There is plenty of lore dont worry the more shards you read the more you will get. Also you watched the tv discussion about the Relic the chip that dex wants you to steal in episode 3 🙂

  4. Ruth Dzeng, from the loading screen, is the hostess of Bullshit Bulletin, an unfunny in game comedy programme like John Oliver of the Colbert Report. We will still have clapter in the dark future.

  5. 'Viktor Vector' seems to be a reference to the Airplane movie starring Leslie Neilsen, among others [What is the vector, Victor?] but nobody knows what it means in the game, if anything. You don't have to rush the main story…I suggest digging into some Police Scanner hustles between steps to build up your resources. Run toward the sound of gunfire! Scavenge the loot! Mess around…Maelstrom, Evelyn Parker and everything will wait for you. You will have to progress quite a bit before you can get out of the Watson district… Unfortunately there are a limited number of background NPCs in the game…you will see repeats very often. Like most of the gear in this game, you will want to upgrade your cyberdeck when you can. Ohh…can hardly wait to see you adventuring on Wednesday! Better buckle up!
