Love the game, love the actresses and love CDPR, but this stream gives woke wibes
You know what's nuts? How underpaid Voice Actors are. Seriously. Blockbuster movies typically cost $100-$350M to produce, with another $100M-$350M in marketing budgets. As of late, many of these flicks have been losing money. A lot of money, but that still does not stop the leading actors from getting paid $5M-$40M, with most being in the $7M to 20M area. Video games are typically in the same area cost-wise, with a bit less on the marketing end of things and the blockbusters are almost always successful, even if they are not all that good (Starfield cough). Yet the actors get paid orders of magnitude less unless they are already Hollywood mega stars. Even someone like Scarlett Johannson or however you spell it got $400K for her barely speaking, barely appearing role in Iron Man, but no one knew who she was. Then we have mega star voice actors who are not all that involved with Hollywood who get $10K, $35K, $50K etc for 25x the lines of the lead in these movies…where the lead in the movies is getting 200 times that but the games are grossing far, far more money.
I'm not saying these people who land gigs consistently are starving, far from it in some cases, but they should all be getting paid far more.
Thats Samantha Traynor!
Interesting how British actors seem to have little to no problem speaking with an American accent. I would've never guessed the voice actor behind Alt was from the UK.
