  1. Given the life V was living before the relic chip, let's face it: something like this was bound to happen at some point. You can only chase the cutting edge for so long before you realize you're an old man in a young man's game.

It happened all at once for V, of course, and a lot earlier than it does for most people, but being the high-speed/low-drag merc was never a life V could have kept living forever. Either he'd end up as a messy stain on a wall from some goon's gun barrel, or he'd wake up one day and realize pretty much what he does in this ending: that that part of his life is over, and it's high time to figure out what's next.

  2. Jingles I haven't seen you try my possibly favorite ending for PL yet! When you're told to run to the crash site to save the president, try running/driving away in any other direction.

  3. Jingles is exactly right! Johnny Silverhand is just a squatter. Who has actually been dead for 50 years. So unless they have some really good cloning tech. It 's So long Johnny.

Congrats Jingles you taking the cure. Has kicked the Arasaka Corp. too the curb. And allowed the jack boots of the N.U.S.A. take over. Turning N.C. into a Neo Nazi state of 2077. Was it worth it? You killed Johnny Silverhand. Condemning N.C. too God only knows what horror's.

Don't feel too bad Jingles. N.C. was always shit. It's just gone from being a steaming hot mess. Too a cold, hardened pile.

    Why? Because it's not !

Catch ya on the flip. You ole Gnome.

  4. That menu music hits different after such a mountain of existential emotions. Life in the cyberpunk world has patience or mercy for no man except what he can find for himself, and even losing everything is just part of the game in the end.

  5. Interesting tidbit…the VA for Vik died back in 2021. CDProjektRed asked VA's family if they can use his voice still and the family agreed. CDProjektRed then had another VA say the lines for Vik and then used an AI to get the original VA's timbre correct so that it sounds as it should.

  6. For me in cyberpunk v 1.0 my honest problem with the end was, even when you know the end you cant loose ends up even when you stood 10 meters veside the characters itself. So i guessed there will be another dlc upcoming, i havent played the v. 2.0 version yet since i missed some parts like a silenced sniper where dont go through 1 body and still through walls or tell the others at the end what wil be happening to you to get a real end, or give you a choice for you.

Still thanks for showing the dlcs ending but for me i wait it out like demonhunters assasins dlc got it for under 5 euros that dlc instead for 20 euros+ i believe was the starting price, so i rather love to see your videos over it and wait until i see a very discount to get it, since i believe in the end you still cant get the ends tightend up and tell what and how it will ends in even 2.0 of cyberpunk

  7. F*** that was exactly my reaction when Reed said you were out for 2 years.

Cyberpunk is never giving it to you easy. You always loose something.

But maybe this is really the best ending, V lives, and can start a new live. Johnny was dead anyway for years.
The Megacorps ill be at each others throat anyway all teh time, so who knows what might happen in the 2 years after one of the other endings.

  8. This is NOT a good ending the price is too high for Night City, and V. What I don't understand is why each "surgery" seems different results. Why are some that fail to save your body, but the FIA are able to allow you to keep your body..?? I mean I don't get it.

  9. Thank you for the journey. This one has been depressing, but it is part of the story and the worldbuilding. To use a phrase made famous for another Johnny'esque character, Wick – actions, consequences.

  10. Well replayed my Corpo ending and there are a number of things different. I actually got Johnny's blessing and he said my real name when he said goodbye. There was no bitterness or anger. I don't know why Jingles got such a bad reaction from Johnny but for me I left Johnny on the best of terms. Still teary but I felt better, sort of. If I could I would want to send Johnny to Alt and then have the surgery.

Certainly recommend playing through the rest of the game to see how you impact other people and find out what they did in the past 2 years. Can be painful with some of the relationships (Panam cough). Also check your original apartment for a postcard from Alex if she survived. Someone gets to have a happy ending at least. Misty didn't save me, don't know why I thought that.

Also talk to Del. Find out what happened to him and how he survived.

  11. Jingles…did you forget to include the game title for the video?

Well gonna be a while before I see your videos again with you on break. Unless you end up getting bored and upload one 3-4 days later

  12. Thank you, Jingles. Your thoughts have been impactful for me. Not every time you associate yourself with protagonist, and then get to see the result of your choices… so vivdly. You showed me that. Thank you.

  13. This is my problem with the writing of Cyberpunk 2077. It could very well be my misconceptions about the themes of Cyberpunk in general, but I dislike all of the endings, save (Don't Fear) The Reaper – and even then I only just tolerate that one – because the writers have gone to excessive lengths to make EVERY outcome the bad one.

Sure it's the realistic outcome of such a bizarre and significant series of events as what V encounters, but it simply drives home the tragedy and hopelessness of the entire saga. This is possibly my bias, but I did NOT WANT THAT in a game whos story was touted as being your own legend, being the little man (or woman) on the street giving the monolithic megacorporations a black eye in the end.

  14. If I went to work for Reed, I'd eventually push the issue with the Aldecaldos. What happened to family? Unfortunately, of all the romances, only Panam's offers any real drama. Might be a redemption arc for River. Judy's in a good and stable situation, and Kerry's just too busy. And if male player/ female NPC is the only option that provides realistic playable drama, it's just not gonna cut it in games these days. So V can become a fixer, and thus become an NPC. Only real option to keep V as close to the V we know and see him again.

  15. The interesting thing is that I can absolutely buy that FIA did all they could to try and heal V to peak condition. After all, it only makes logical and 'Corporate' sense. Because they know the existence of the Relic Chip means things like this will happen in the future, even if the processes behind that particular chip need to be redeveloped from complete scratch in the 'worst case' scenario. And V frankly doesn't matter to them too much, so if they have an adverse or lethal reaction to something that should have helped heal them?

Better than it happening to one of their critical agents or analysts. Thus they'll have done all they can to heal V to the best condition they can, damn the expense, for the simple fact that this is someone who would be thankful for them trying (as such they can avoid any issues with an expensively healed person blaming them for needing to get healed or just killing whoever was experimented on and wasting the resources spent healing them) and the process of working out how to do so 'safely' gives them all the data they need to determine if a normal method or a special, custom researched process is needed for similar 'injuries' in the future.

  16. I disagree.
Better to live and rebuild a life than it is to die, having Crohn's disease I know what it's like to have to put my life on hold.
I also know what it's like to not tell friends and family that I'm in hospital.
I got a right bollocking from a fair few friends about not informing them I'm in hospital for the long term last month.

That said, Vincent should have known better, just like I should have, you're going to be under for "up to a month" well at that point you explain yourself to a couple of key people what's happening, where it's happening and then leave your voice message on the phone to contact those friends.

After that they can keep themselves and others up to date. It's what I plan to do if I ever need to be put in a coma.
And it's not today difficult to do.

My choices would have been Regina (my main fixer), Victor (obvious reasons), Judy (good friends) and Panam (GF, possibly more).
Panam especially would be my first contact.

Just like right now my main contacts are:
    Mum and Dad
    Best friend
Closest friend of where I live.
And then normally everyone's getting updates from them.

  17. You can get this ending from both choices, as long as give song to reed in the end which you can also do on the moon mission. Most people would say the best ending is when you end songs life like she begs you too do, she get what she wants and reed will agree with your decision, when you have your last talk by basket place, but you will not any cure.

  18. Hey there Mighty gnome Overlord. This is very off topic but I wonder if you can help me out. I've been trying for so long to track down a piece of video game music that I am sure you used a few times some years ago. It's been bugging me for months that I cannot remember what it's called or what game it's from. It's 8bit, upbeat and from a game that may have 'galaxy' or possibly 'guardian' in the title. Yes, incredibly vague I know but if one old gamer could help out another, I would be eternally grateful. Wishing you and yours a peaceful and pleasant holiday period <3

  19. Hmm i was looking forward for the old man to go with reed choices so he had to play the alien isolation ending path instead but i guess he might have his own chicken reasons for not playing that path 🤨

  20. Jingles, Yori is everything but what you called him. He hates his father and his legacy. He purposefully sabotages Arasaka from the inside. The only reason he returned "with his tail between his legs" is to do in 'saka from the inside. He still pretty much is the man who he was when he founded the Steel Dragons. Only thing he realized is that to truly beat his father, he needs another way, not Johnny's gung-ho big ineffective gestures.
