  1. yeah, your dialog options with Johnny at the end show you had a weak relationship with Johnny. if your bond was better, although he is still not happy he understands.

    As for the ending.. well i think everyone who chose to side with Reed (myself in initial playthrough of the DLC) didn't realize we were getting "Live the Quiet life" per Dexter Deshawn or truly comprehended that that meant basically becoming a NPC.

    So for me canonically, my female V romanced Judy and my male V romanced Panam even if she seems to be a tad unhinged, i help and side with Songbird which means Alex lives, Song lives, Reed well. We know how that goes, we piss off the NUSA president, i side with the aldecados giving me that ride into the desert.

    Why i still say this is the better option is because now we know there is a way to help save our life while in a way preserving Johnny, we continue with our romantic choice because they wanted to leave night city anyhow, we still got our chrome and all our gear, we're still considered a living legend since we storm arasaka and well basically we've given both arasaka and the NUSA some johnny-style middle finger.

    why i chose Song vs Reed – Song is literally in the same shoes as us. yes she betrayed us to save herself. Wouldn't we as V? One can say we did the exact same to Takemura. we led him along to "help him" while we searched for a cure without the true intention that we were committed to siding him. Reed out of the gate gave you that vibe that above all else he was loyal to the NUSA. He kept saying he was trying to help Songbird but the game gave you every hint that the moment the president tells him something contrary to what he wanted, he would have done it. This to a person whom he considered a close friend. You know night city long enough to know no matter who you sided with you were gonna get shafted. it juts depended on whether you uphold your principles. I think V is a good person and doesn't want to see people suffer so I truly felt that even if it meant that she was gonna die, she would have helped songbird.
