  1. I'm really curious to hear more about crafting/upgrading systems in 2.0. One of my few really big complaints in the base game was the fact that the ability to craft/upgrade high-level gear was locked behind spending A LOT of skill points. So basically, if you wanted to access some of the best gear, then you just had to spend a pretty good chunk of your points on that skill tree, which really felt like it limited the rest of your build options. I don't necessarily think that the crafting tree should be removed, but the ability to craft/upgrade good gear shouldn't be locked up.

  2. I didn't have issues with the story. I like the story and side quests, the only thing I was surprised about was how short the story actually is. I did all the side quests first then when I did the story missions it was incredibly short! But I really enjoyed the game and can't wait for 2.0 and Phantom Liberty!

  3. The story is amazing and certainly the best aspect of the game at launch. There is an issue with the main motivation for V clashing with the open world and side quests a bit because of it's sense of urgency, but that is an issue shared with most games like this I think.

  4. Never forget that it took them almost three years to finally fix their game somewhat. Blame technology all you want but i have little hope that CDPR will put out a competently polished Witcher 4 on day one. And why should they, really?

  5. This game got a lot of hate for its terrible launch. Most people did not give it much of a chance because it was such a disaster. Totally understandable. But the game has changed. A lot of the same people who played a few hours or just played the main campaign, formed their opinions and let it set in stone. It’s a tragedy, because in my opinion this game comes to life with the side missions. A lot of them develop as they go on making it seem like mini campaign’s throughout the game. Idk. Just my take. I think a lot of people didn’t spend enough time to form a valid opinion
