Why Care About Cyberpunk 2077?

After asking the community, I have set up the GoFundMe for the trip, complete with what I hope to pull off when there. For the record too, I had many more locations planned than the ones shown here. And as for the news about the Cyberpunk Edgerunners Mission Kit I don’t think I need to say how excited I am about it.

Anyway, the GoFundMe is at https://gofund.me/d1edbab4 and currently I set it for the lowest amount needed for the budget.

  1. "No man's sky also got good eventually". That doesn't make the sorry launch ok in the case of no man's sky, and it certainly doesn't make it okay in Cyberpunk 2077´s case. Even with most of the stuff fixed, the game is still a huge disapointment.

  2. I didn't play 2077 but i am glad it came out because it left such a great legacy. Maybe CPR flunked the game, but the music, the anime, and ttrpg are alive because of CD Project's involvment.

  3. As a huge fan of the cyberpunk genre, to have a solid ip that utilizes all of the elements of the genre in a cohesive way is so exciting. What’s more, the fact that CDPR has committed to continue creating content on a variety of mediums excites me even more! Not to mention all the ongoing ttrpg already in the works and going still going on.

  4. I actually recently started playing and am absolutely loving it! I wish I was young with my friends because we used to play tons of tabletop rpgs and the cyberpunk one would've been amazing

  5. I have almost 800hrs in Cyberpunk 2077 and no game has immersed me into its universe as much as it did and it got me to buy the comics and now I'm interested in buying Cyberpunk RED too even though I don't have any friends to play it with. If anything I'm sure I will enjoy the artwork because I've seen some reviews of it and the artworks are incredible. Using the character creator in Cyberpunk 2077 to visualize your character in the table top game is a really good idea because I've thought of writing a fan fiction in the same universe and using the character creation in 2077 for the main character's image as well as using photo mode for the image of some scenes that I'm planning to write. I really love that Mike Pondsmith created Cyberpunk RED because it basically confirms that 2077 is canon and those who love this universe know that the franchises are all connected and the world has a very rich lord and it's somewhere you can really escape to and be immersed in.

  6. Why I think Cyberpunk 2077 deserves a continuation to development:

    – When I played [Don't Fear] The Reaper, and finished it, after the Arasaka Raid, first time I saw a helicopter landing on top of the specific building. I was amazed, they put a lot of consideration to this game, but the deadline lead them to release the game unfinished.

    – Cyberpunk lore is not just about Night City, it's the Earth imagined into a whole new concept that led by big corporations like Arasaka, Night Corp, MILITECH, KANG TAO, Trauma Team, NUSA, Zetatech, Netwatch, Biotechnica, Petrochem, SovOil, IEC, and many more.

    – There's three perspectives to see the world of Cyberpunk, that are Corpo, who's involved behind the scenes of big companies, Street Kid that do the dirty job on a daily basis for survival, and Nomads that move from time to time on the badlands.

    – The Crystal Palace is a place of hidden secrets and a paradise for wealthy individuals.

    – Black Wall deserves more story time, and explanation about what lies beyond the wall

    – The Netrunners and the rogue Viruses and AIs.

    – It needs more verticality and transportations, like able to sightseeing Night City while riding Rayfield, or able to ride trains, or ferry, or subway stations.

  7. It’d be nice if they actually cared about fixing the game though. They change things with every update so it’s play a new game again!! and they broke conversations since last years last update so you can’t conversate river but get “new content” so it just makes it unplayable for me I want to be fully immersed in the game, but damn they make that hard. And I only have one playthrough that has Johnnys arm so that sucks the most and it’s my most chaotic playthrough where I did what I wanted and didn’t use any guides but to get johnnys gear and then they took the arm when I went to make a female V with more guided decisions.

  8. I'd love to see more of these comparisons!

Been trying to create some battlemaps, but it's hard to choose which areas to do. This type of video helped for inspiration!

  9. As someone who got the game back when it came out and is now 1,310hrs of play time behind me and I have to say with all the ups and downs it was redeemed it was helped massively by Netflix series as well. What I hope with the next game is that people show some restraint, some common sense and allow the publisher the time to get the new game to a state it should be in, so it is fit for consumption the thing for me with CP2077 is that it is one of those rare games that makes you feel like you have been living another persons life and that was why I have been with it from day one till now it's dark gritty and horrific in places, but it also shines in others the thing that makes it stand out is the relationships you form with the characters in the game.

It has been a labour of love, and it has been a rough ride to get it to the place it is now and not without its issues, even so to me at any rate it is my new favourite game.

Also, as a PC player of the game being able to mod the 💩out of it has been really, really nice for increasing the immersion of NC

  10. I get that videos like these are for people who never cared about the content they are talking about, but man… I hate outsiders getting in to stuff I enjoy and fukin ruining it… Much like with cyberpunk….

  11. 2077 doesn't have any depth in it though? That's one of the main problems with it!
I don't why players rave about it and sink so many hours into it!
PL may change that, I've heard rumours there's lots of updates that'll be coming with that DLC that'll bring the game more in line with what they marketed it to be, but at the same time, we shouldn't have to paying for that!
I don't why people are still giving CDPR such a good rap when their marketing was an outright lie!

  12. u still give me no reason to give a shit about the game wow a prequel dlc that should've already been included into the game and wow 2 locations i haven't seen that before. LOL the game that's set in the future still has no flying cars or anything remotely looking futuristic fucking the fifth element game looks more futuristic then this lifeless garbage.
