  1. One singular Netrunner vs. a group of Corpo Netrunners in their home turf.
T-Bug definitely was good, but to me these aren't odds she could've won against.

  2. How about this for a twist. Arasaka has the technology to grab someone’s psyche off the net when they’re net running. What if her psyche was ripped from her body and she is an engram on a chip like Johnny? I could see this as a possibility. Please feel free to point out any things that would prove this theory wrong.

  3. I think if she is alive, the idea of it being a contingency plan is the one that makes the most sense. I don’t think she would directly conspire to betray Jackie and V, but I can imagine her being mercenary enough to dip after giving them a proper chance of escape.

  4. You talk about how she could be taken out so easily by Konpeki runner, yet the 2 netrunners we rescue in Japantown, got trapped in the net. potentially this is what they did to T-Bug. Trapped her psyche in the Konpeki subnet and it would have been easy to isolate and kill her. I do think Soburo knew about the heist by Yorinobo and that is why security shows up as quick as they do, this was all planned by big daddy Arasaka from the go, Jackie and V were just outliers caught up in a corporate power struggle.

  5. One big bit of evidence that T-bug faked her death is that the hack that opens the door to the balcony completes AFTER she screams on the coms as the counter runner fries her brain.. A hack should fail on the death of the hacker, but it somehow finished in this case? Seems sus to me.

  6. I never thought she may have faked her death tbh. Maybe it wasn't planned at all and she had to pull the plug herself when she realised she was being hacked. She may have then thought there's no way I can log back on as they would be looking for her so had to make up the fake death plan there and then.

  7. When i played this game at launch I found t-bug in a ally dead still hooked up to her equipment. and the van she drove open. I should have taken a screen shot. 🤷‍♂

  8. I doubt she betrayed them. At the very last moment, she was making an escape route for them. If she had to betray them, she wouldn't have even tried.
I still believe Bug was a friend of V and Jackie's. Rest in peace, T-Bug.

  9. The only way I think she would have faked her own death is if someone else was helping her, and it was for a specific narrative purpose. Like maybe you find out that that before the heist, she was approached by NUSA and recruited by them, with the condition that during the heist she's also using her hacking to get something else from Arasaka's systems, and the death was an elaborate hoax to cover her, and she returns in Phantom Liberty as a familiar face. I don't think that's actually the case, but it's something I think could be a cool development.

  10. That would also explain why she is one of the few characters nobody found a way to save yet. Maybe we were so focused on trying to prevent her death that we missed how to stop her from faking her death.

  11. T-Bug never received her money though. So why would she make a clean break before she got paid?

As for being found, she was hacking via the Flathead which had neutralized the other netrunner, so as soon as the lockdown went into place, security measures were used to sweep the net and immediately find her and fry her.
