We’ve made a Cyberpunk 2077 engineering XP guide. If you were wanting to level up engineering fast in Cyberpunk 2077 then this will help.

If you were wondering how to get engineering XP in cyberpunk 2077, there are multiple ways. You can kill enemies while shooting through walls, you can kill enemies with bullet ricochets, you can kill enemies with fully charged tech weapon shots, and finally you can kill enemies with grenades.

We’ve found grenades to be the fastest way to level up engineering in Cyberpunk 2077. Now the question is, what’s a good location to grind engineering that will work at any level? We’ve found a good rotation in a low level area of Watson, two rotations actually. One rotation is the best, but if it glitches out then there is another option to choose from.

You’re going to need frag grenades for this Cyberpunk 2077 engineering exploit. Also you have to know how to use the speed cheat or else this will take much longer.

You’re going to want to frag one group of enemies and speed cheat to the other group, frag them, and speed cheat back. If you do this right you can get well over 100,000 engineering XP per hour, potentially up to 200,000+.

Rare frag grenades are the best, but common frag grenades work pretty well too, assuming they do enough damage to kill the enemies. Also you’re going to want to turn the difficulty to easy for this, there is no reason to play on very hard while you level up engineering fast in cyberpunk 2077.

Now you know how to farm engineering XP in Cyberpunk 2077. If you were wanting to max this skill this is the best way to grind XP for engineering in Cyberpunk 2077.

If anyone finds a Cyberpunk 2077 engineering XP exploit, be sure to comment and let us know, we would love to investigate. For now however this is the best engineering XP cheat in Cyberpunk 2077.

  1. I think there's a bug when it comes to vendors. If you talk to them the very first time they have really good items to sell, plenty of blueprints and actual legendaries (clothing especially).

But afterwards their range of items shrinks and the good stuff dissapears. That Gucci clothing store sells nothing but rare, uncommon and commons after the first visit and this ain't right. But I snatched at least 2 legendary blueprints on the first visit.

  2. i use the clothing store rotation in pacifica and sticky grenades, dont have much armor but if you stick them it does more damage, 2 for each group of 3 guys to be sure and since you are running and quick throwing most dont have time to realize youre attacking them, lvl 25 for reference, very hard mode

  3. I think there is actually a way to get them to respawn if they didn't respawn for you. You have to carry their body with you and run away, once the body disappears while you are carrying, they should respawn. But I think that is kinda useless if you are trying to speed run this, I feel that you should only do this if they stop respawning for you after some time.

  4. lol. this method is shit. theres a much easier way of doing it, its called widow maker charged shot through walls. If you do it near the long stretch of beach area near the mall in pacifica, there are tons of enemies there and convinently a wall for you to shoot through. i get like 6-7k engineering xp and a ton of rifle expereince too, and each run is like 2-3 mins tops

  5. i decided to run out towards the edge of the badlands. its literally just a field of landmines. just disarm them all for engineering exp then blow them up with scanner for breach xp lol. but this method is probably faster lol

  6. More of a money oriented exploit, unless you count crafting experience, but you can combine the dupe glitch with cans of cola or pretty arbitrary consumable items to mass produce components at any level. Don't need the painting and just instantly gives you enough items to trade against any vendor. No need to wait until Watson comes out of lockdown for the painting in the early game.

I tend to validate an eddies positive crafting loop first before exploiting money for roleplay purposes, as I don't want to sit in the crafting screen for hours grinding that progress bar. They really should enable batch crafting if they remove the dupe glitch

  7. Found another good grenade spot. Start at gun store in Pacifica. Run twords clothing shop. Two groups of targets outside the clothing shop. Sometimes you'll get a warrant, but just run back inside the gun shop

  8. [Update] Throw a nade in the back of the truck. It kills dancers and enemies, but since it was the truck exploding, no police involved. You get engineering points, remove the annoying mob, and have an additional group in the same path as travel back and forth.

  9. Found my own way, using F-GX Frag Grenades common at a enemy while Crouching/stealth so they do not aggro directly and duplication glitch to get unlimited grenades 🙂

  10. Shooting through walls mysteriously stopped giving me engineering xp. I dunno what caused it but it happened around lvl 40. I was getting engineering xp just fine before. Now I can oneshot 10+ opponents in a row through walls and ceilings and receive 60 engineering xp total or something.

    Anyone else having this?

  12. Another tip to leveling engineering MUCH faster is to clear the minefield furthest to the East of the Badlands (surrounding gig in area South of main road). 100s of mines each giving common/uncommon components and engineering xp.
