The Spec is grey, the rarity you get depends on your character level (no relation to technical at all). About 20-30 you'll start seeing rares and 30-40 you'll start seeing epics

Thank you so much! I’m on my fourth play through of the game and the gun shop that sells the spec disappeared for some odd reason. At least I can get crunch now!

FWIW, this location did not show up on my map. I had to drive there first, then saw the Fast Travel location at Pinewood St South. YMMV.

Okay TO BE CLEAR since these guides are practically half ass useful. You'd have to leave the 2nd amendment store, go towards your room / apartment until the NPC (Wilson) says "Wait don't go", or "Leave now, you'll break my heart." Once you've made it to that threshold you'll want to go into the menu. I am on PC so I just simply press the "i" Key and skip time to 24 hours. Go back to the 2nd Amendment store check and see if the Crafting Spec Crunch is available for purchase. Repeat untill it is. This may take 3-5 attempts But it will drop.
Any other additional information that I am unaware of. Such as any Level requirement is unknown.

as of 7 June 2022 , you won't find crunch at this location , tried may times just keeps giving things like max doc 1 or 2 and other misc stuff, im replying at 1.52 update.

I just went and it seems patches have changed this. Crunch is no longer here.
I can actually craft Crunch, but onl rare Crunch. I don't have the normal, common one like you have, meaning I don't think I can craft any other than rare, when I want epic Crunch.

GUYS I FOIND THE LOCATION!!!!!!!!!!!! THE NEW LOCATION 2022 PATCH 1.6 check it out ok guys go to the wraith camp where you go to save saul witj panam you can go to it even after youve done the mission and go into the little tunell where you can crawl in to save saul stealthy if you dont know where it is look up a guide but anyways go in the room where he was and go into the back and there will be the spec in a box
