After the background specific prologue, the Rescue is the first main story mission of Cyberpunk 2077. Jackie and V are tasked with infiltrating a scavver hideout and rescuing a woman named Sandra Dorsett.

But after rescuing Sandra and progressing through the story we’ll be contacted by her again for another side quest. It’s at this point we can discover that perhaps Sandra was specifically targeted because of something she knew… specifically some shady NightCorp AI research that she uncovered on the net. We discover this information during the quest Full Disclosure if we hack into Sandra’s databank and read the datashards in her apartment.

  1. there is more to this mission…. for some reason i think their is two competing experiments in the game to get the same result. one from night corp and one from whoever controls mr blue eyes. mr blue eyes seems to be working with militech but i think he is a free agent who only using militech to further his goals. i think sandra story line will appear again in the next dlc so she will return but her role maybe smaller as i notice with her she seems……. not up to task like judy or panam are. both seem capable leaders though in their own roles.

  2. Makes sense and you're probably right – but it isn't really logical to me. Night Corp, shady, powerful – logically, would they hire scavs – unreliable thugs, essentially, to do their dirty work and potentially risk exposure? It is probably what happened, but you'd think Night Corp has their own internal folks that handle "problems".

  3. There's something that rubs me the wrong way about this series of events. Scabs couldn't give 2 ducks about their victims but later on in the game, they remember her by name. This I think gives validity to the opinions on this video

  4. You forgot there's a correlation also with what is happening to Jefferson Peralles with Mr Blue eyes being one of their A.I. and again Space is mentioned as during Path of Glory the AIs hire you to go to space and infiltrate the casino.

  5. It took me 3 playthroughs before I realised that Sandra's mission, The Peralez's mission & Garry the Prophet's mission were actually interconnected…..AGIs, mind alteration, links with Scavs & Maelstrom…..what is Night Corp up to?!?!

  6. Of course, I let Sandra keep her secrets, but after watching this it looks pretty likely that what she uncovered is related to stuff going on with the Peralezes. Johnny was right, there was an AI involved, but Night Corp was behind the AI.

  7. I loved slowly figuring this out through my three playthroughs, started out as a solo Street kid and then became a ninja nomad and then finally the corpo Runner it all clicked in the third playthrough. Though I had a pretty good idea what was going on.

  8. I love your surge of Cyberpunk content. I love your Mass Effect videos, but Cyberpunk 2077 is my favorite video game ever. Haven't agreed with every take you have, but that's the beauty of RPGs, everyone will have their preferences and the freedom to play based on those preferences.

  9. A lot of the gangs in NC have ties to a corp. Makes sense that a corp would use a group like scavs or raffen to get rid of low level targets. When you want to make an example use a messy group. Could have even set up her rescue because she is valuable, but wanted to show her that they can get her whenever they please.

  10. I kinda wish this interaction could continue. Invite her to lunch. Befriend her. Maybe dig deeper into NightCorp’s conspiracy and undermine it. Be more than just a job. She clearly has been deeply scarred by the scav encounter.

  11. I like how this adds another element in the game, corps conspiring arasaka with the chip, militech with the brainwash of the Peraleze's, the net plaged with rogue AI's in the net being block by the black wall and Alt which I think does not have good intentions after the destruction of mikoshi, maelstrom basically being a satanist group, and other gang shenanigans, maybe fixers doing dirty stuff it just shows a lot of time put into showing the lore of Cyberpunk.

  12. Now I hope Cyberpunk: Orion makes Netrunning more awesome. Imagine having a choice of Leviathan, Cerberus, etc as additional options in our Ramdeck.

Like they could have different stats and give you different "default" programs seperate from our chosen Quickhacks.

Like Leviathan could have a Drown/Thirst ultimate causing the target to go rabid and choke on their saliva. Or another one called "Data Flooding" Streams a deluge of data into their ocuset/optics forcing them to produce an excessive amount of tears.

Cerberus could have "Heatwave" causing several targets to overheat

    Shiva could have "Cold Snap"
forcing the user to suffer hypothermia by breaking their cyberware coolant containment.

Ixion or Zeus could cause Short Circuit to spread between multiple targets.

  13. Always thought it was weird that, not only does she not show any signs of having her implants removed, she also doesn't appear to have that many implants for them to even rip from her. So why would they take her over some of the more obviously augmented? Still wonder about that other guy in the tub though, guy has even less cyberware…

  14. Interestingly, V can obtain programs that induces cyber psychosis or suicide in their target. As no other NPCs use these on V, does this mean V is using illegal/experimental programs? There is such an emphasis on the AI control of others in the game, yet everyone forgets the obvious right in front of them. My V has made more cyberpsychos than any NPC in the game.

  15. Oh my GOD, i wish they would give us more info and give us more about Mr. Blue-Eyes! The more i dig into the iceberg conspiracy, more i need to know where it leads! It's all on a cliffhanger!!

Mr. Night, CEO of NightCorp and founder of Night City, was shot and killed on the balcony of his penthouse suite. They NEVER expanded on that mystery.

You wann know my theory? I believe Mr. Blue-Eyes is Mr. Night and HK-13 is him as the control group of the untested AI. The AI went rogue and assimilation of his body gave it a physical form. Someone tried to stop the AI and shot it before the AI could be released into the world while it was isolated in Mr. Night's body. He fell and that's the end of the story. But what-if Mr. Blue-Eye somehow resurrected Mr. Night but only his body and not his mind? Johnny is an engram and saved V through nanites colonizing the bullet hole in V's head and brain matter – why wouldn't it be similar to Mr. Night? The CEO could have prototype nanites as well that does the same thing to reduce old age. But instead of reducing just his age, the AI overclocked the nanites to regenerate lost tissue with synthflesh? He would have survived!

That's how Mr. Blue-Eyes has so much wealth and so many contacts – He is using his new identity to leverage Mr. Night's old life to his advantage. This is THE Mr. Night, a very powerful man and everything at his disposal now possessed by a rogue AI. I swear to god i hope Phantom Liberty does something about this conspiracy itch, it's driving me crazy! I want my theory to be validated – it all makes sense!

  16. I had no idea that owning that you cracked the datapad's encryption and talking shop with her about netrunning would get you a bonus, I always either refused to crack the datapad to get the full bounty or cracked it and tried to lie about opening it.

  17. I noticed you couldn't resist referencing ME when Sandra says Leviathan. That actually isn't a reference to anything by Cyberpunk though. Leviathan and Cerberus are two of the hardest hitting Icebreakers in Cyberpunk (and the original Netrunner CCG). They were part of my runner deck.

  18. This type of stories is the reason I love this studio, already in the Witcher 3 you had these quest were you felt like you just scratched the surface of another big story another charachter's life. We were already given lots of information that gives you the impression that these people arent NPCs and developpers gave a thought to every detail.

  19. So Sandra figured out NightCorp was using an AI to manipulate targets. And V figures out Jefferson was being manipulated by an AI… And Delamain, an AI went haywire. And the Voodoo Boys were trying to join the AI beyond the Blackwall… And Alt, Arasaka, and the Relics… Is it all connected? Damn! I still think the relic was going to be Saburo's way to turn Yorinobu into his new sleeve by chipping his own relic engram into his son's body.

  20. Cringe, you can just pretend you find Blue-eye part only now, this is not a theory, this is a whole facts and investigation since 2021
The whole Cyberpunk 2077 storyline, all characters, all corpo, this is all about "How Night Corp manipulates everyone with their brainwash, eye implants, special antennas, soul, e.t.c"
We was a part of this story since fixer give us a quest to save Sandra and don't kill us after it
