Didnt buy it on launch as I stopped buying games on preorder or day one, and this is really tempting me to give it a shot. Might look around for a cheap code or physical copy, and put it on the ol steam wishlist in case of the next seasonal sale.
But then Studio TRIGGER can sell me on anything
Had to dive back in man, missed this game world. Hope the IP over time improves for CDPR, and maybe we get a fire sequel sometime in 2040-something
It is still running janky as hell, cars flying into space for bumping into a fence lol
Put in two 100% playthroughs when the game launched, and enjoyed every second of it because the artistry and passion was clearly there, but the polish wasn't.
As time goes on, with more and more updates/fixes that CDPR thankfully followed through with, 2077 is only gonna age better.
It's been time to play since 1.5 dropped. Some people are too stubborn to realise this.
How is CP running on the ps5? Thinking of getting it.
uninstalled after about 2 hours. The gun play is awful on controller and the world just feels bland to me. Wish they'd just move on to Witcher 4 already.
Played on release, I'm done giving shitty releases second chances years later. The anime was quality on release unlike the game.
I waited to play cyberpunk until about 6 months ago and it was worth playing then. I can't wait until the dlc. The game is way to short.
I'm done giving developers second, third, fourth, fifth chances lol fuck CD Projekt Redd
I went back to the game because my char didn't have to look like a blind, schitzoid, physics immune, 100% certified prime Angus grade A twat. Now I just have to briefly suspend disbelief that the lumo collar stops bullets using magic, but I don't have it eye-searingly thrown in my face all the time.
Edge runners is so good
I haven't finished the game but it definitely gets better every time I try it
Crazy, this game should have released this year
I’ll have to give it another go. I played it when it first came out. Even with the bugs I enjoyed it.
I had great experience with the game from start in 1.0 on a quite weak PC, it was a very good bethesda game, after a few patches it's a truly great game that anyone interested in this kind of gameplay/story should give a try, with some light mods preferably, at least driving settings tweaks, the story is really good and the gameplay is solid, just driving around is fun for me
IMO the game didn't deserve half the hate it got, most of that hate was deserved by the studio management but the game took unjustified flak, it was never that bad, it was just buggy for some people at release and they really should have abandoned old consoles since the game wasn't compatible with them (it might suck, but it's the reality)
I just want to crawl on walls with Mantis Blades. It sucks that so much of the original functionality of the cybernetic enhancments shown 3 years ago hasnt made it in game to this day.
Still got my $10 Target copy; waiting for the go ahead 👍
lightfall lookin sick
I hope they keep supporting it going into the future . We need more vehicles and driving/bike control needs drifting and we could use some Customization like a garage and other things of that nature .
Leaving last gen is such good news I bet a lot of features are back on the table
Nnnnahhh
Playing cyberpunk on ps5 and it’s an awesome game
9/10 from me
Best way to advertise a game? Make a sick ass anime for it.
Excuse me if the game already has it but I wonder if the game will ever get multiplayer
No
imagine not playing the game and watching the show.. u wont feel the way we feel when we game and see fucking ROUGE chillin
CDPR delivered half of what they promised but it is still my top 5, they can easily turn this into the best game of all time with the expansion.
Just in case you don't know you can hot swap between controller for driving and KBM for on foot.
It’s a good game. It didn’t revolutionize the way people thought it would, but that is partly on the community hyping themselves up too much.
Loving EDGERUNNERS and currently up to ep 7. Studio Trigger went all out for the anime and it also have their signature crazy OTT style and character designs. I got 2077 at launch and it actually played ok on my base PS4 (although with settings all on low). I think I played to about where your current character is in this vid, I need to do the street crimes to get enough money for Rogue.
I got to level 11 at launch and put it down due to all the talk about the bugs but I never experienced any. Since I didn't want that potential I put it down. Started all over a patch or two ago(?) and am on my fourth of six playthroughs. I enjoy the game completely and the world is beautiful. The advantage of me waiting is having gone from a 1070 on a 55" TV to a 3080 on a 77" TV so that greatly helps! Frames be damned, 4K, HDR, and ray tracing is just too nice to look at.
I’m going to wait for the DLC next year, I’m hoping they release a complete edition to pick up.
Hell singer is amazing game so far 10/10
You waited for a tv show to play a game?
Anyone started a new play through, with a brand new character. Yeah lots has changed . Withe the Edge Runners update. I started a new play through, and alot has changed it isn't the same now, not every change was good.
Finally downloaded for the first time on ps5 and have been blown away by the city and the graphics ! Really enjoying it so far about 4 hours in and think this is a game I’ll get fully immersed in. Glad I waited 2 years but it seems night day different to what dropped at launch.
Needs new game plus.
This game on ps5, Xbox series and pc is really fucking good.
As of right now, CP2077 is God damn mind blowing. Best single player game I've ever played.
For me who is just a massive fan of the Cyberpunk genre, it has always been the time to play CP77, even after release. On PC at least. But for most people, I would say that the time to play was with patch 1.5 that was released few months ago, and more so now with patch 1.6. It's gonna get even better with patch 1.7 because they finally dropped support for old consoles, so they'll be able to just focus on more advanced features/fixes.
Just got it today I'm digging it…loved the show so I had to try the game
The anime is the best thing to come out of the Cyberpunk IP, it's better than the game and it's better than the tabletop, sorry Mike, you ain't that stylish.
Hopefully the interest in the game again helps them ramp up patches and features back to an acceptable level.
NMS, launched technically with everything they promised, now it has more than you could ever do.
CDPR bare faced lied to us about many things and they still aren't in the game.
I still play it and I simply love the universe. The anime did a great thing of breathing new life into the universe: Making Adam Smasher and Max Tac seem so much more dangerous, making fixers seem actually capable in scene and not just behind them while also really boosting the hyper capitalism of corps and corpos to make them seem a lot more dodgy, greedy and evil in comparison to the game which just boosts the game.
Im still a bit bugged of how little new things there are to experience IN game, because so many patches has just fixed bugs or corrected minor things – but overall looking forward to DLC(s)
Only reason why I jumped back in was cause of edge runners let's go!!
Anime good, game mediocre. Game missing a lot mechanics and purposeful dialog. Where is max tac or your cyber psychosis in the game?
Was in the middle of a fourth playthrough to stave off the inevitable Destiny meh while Edgerunner dropped. The 1.6 update brought a fresh breath of air to the game and made it that much more fun to explore and see the new additions. To say nothing of the new mods that sprung up in the game as a consequence. I’d recommend your first playthrough to be mod free though. Get the vanilla experience first before tinkering away with stuff.
If there ever was a time to hop on it would be now, or whenever the game goes back on sale. Either way, Night City’s calling and it will break your heart in many ways but you’ll come away with a fresh perspective and insights to life and about the setting.
i bought the game at launch and to be completely honest i haven't had any where near as many bugs as people claim there to be, but that also may be because i played the game on a very powerful and capable system. i understand not everyone is fortunate enough to be in that position but i just thought i would share my experience on the pc side of things. i ended up binge watching about half of edge runners in the last couple of days and im excited to come back to the game after all this time and see the updates and changes they've made.
Been getting a weird glitch where my vehicle will randomly stop as if hitting an invisible wall. Typically happens when anywhere near a quest area, but legit stops me in the middle of the street.
Anyone know a fix?
