  1. Edit: Please read the replies from OP for better explanation, some info here has been disproven.

Since no one mentioned how, to get this ending you MUST have friendship with Johnny at 70% or 50%, you can check this by looking below the Samurai logo that stay above the Inventory, Journal and Map screen.
Getting 70% is the troublesome part, since you have to be nice to Johnny from the start, do ALL of his side-quests and choose "The guy who saved my life" when asked what would you put in his tombstone.

Anything else from this and you'll have 60% and won't able to trigger this scene (For some reason), since triggering it is the easiest part, you just gotta choose to let Johnny and Rogue go do his thing, but instead of actually taking the pill, just hang there and stare at Johnny for 5 minutes. 2. You can only trigger this by having a relationship with Johnny at 70% or 50%. But not 60%. Just great. CDPR is so stupid they dont even realize that 60 is higher than 50.

  3. So is there really no ending where it all works out and V gets to live? I got the Night City Legend ending and in the epilogue *spoilers* but it seems like at the end of that ending when you're going to do the job with nothing but a pistol and no backup it's more like a suicide mission than a job.. cause you know you're going to die. There is NO ending that has V live? that sucks and makes me not even wanna play the game again for another playthrough if I can't even get a happy ending for the protagonist that I spent 50 hours playing with.

  4. Its really disappointing that you have to be nice to him the whole way through just to get 70. I even did the tombstone thing right but I spent 80+ hours completing most things before moving forward and so now my dumb ass is going to have replay with male character and jump through the main storyline. For me, the best ending (Nomad) doesn't serve a female character at all.
