For anyone saying you buy back for same price. Sell the painting, back out of shop menu and re'enter shop. You can then buy back for 5 eurodollars. Rinse and repeat
So its safe to install the update and still be able to do this?
How hard is this mission and what lvl should I be? I think I’m only like lvl 8
Ok here is a another method to get eddies with this. (Don't forget, you need to either change menus or leave and open vendor again to buy the painting back for 5 bucks)
First make some eddies by skipping time as Dan said, then go to a Ripperdoc and buy some expensive cyberware (Legendary if you are able). Ripperdoc will have lots of eddies.
While browsing cyberware if you look top center of the your screen you'll see 2 menus, cyberware and trade. Go trade and sell your painting, go back to cyberware screen and back to trade again. Now buy and sell your painting and repeat. This way you'll get your spend eddies back very quickly. Have fun 🙂

When the prologue completes?
Straight after the prologue huh? These guys are high level and will 1 shot you at level 16. Failed to mention that part?

Just tried this on PS4 and its not working, buyback price is 4000, same as the sale price.

I think they patched it, now exiting the shop ramps it up to 9000.
