  1. I love CDPR for what I know they CAN and SHOULD be, but the deserve this asswhooping for betraying our trust. I didn't buy CP2077 and I just don't feel like, based on what I'm seeing it looks like atm, that said, I will give them a second chance but they'll have to dig deep and blow out minds with the next time around… if I ever get to give them any advice, I'd say underpromise so that you have an opportunity to overdeliver!

  2. honestly they deserve to be sued because they out and out lied about the status of the game to share holders and public. Then they released one of the most unstable games i have ever played. I have never had a game actually be responsible for killing one of my laptops before, and I had more than enough power to have had run it with no real issues. I really hope that CDPR learns from this.

  3. When stock holders sue a company the only real winners are the lawyers. I hope CDPR gets through this and, if nothing else, they avoid making claims they cannot back up in the future…

  4. Cyberpunk 2077 was the reason I started getting into your channel in the first place. Really good you can keep up content for the franchise here. It deserves to be returned to former glory.

  5. Even if the crying hedgefonds win that lawsuit, it won't affect the future production of cdr. They gonna get "paid" in stocks with some expiration hold date on, not in cash or equipment. So don't worry about that.

  6. So the investors played a gaunter of dim gwent card to combine a bunch of cards at the start , Let's hope cdpr has some hero cards because the investors have non either.

  7. Yes CDPR lied and they should be held responsible. I don't know if it's better or worse for them to have one big lawsuit. Just make sure the liar board members get what they deserve. Only them, not the devs or the company as a whole. Many fans would be super sad if CDPR would be in financial trouble because of this. And then some greedy publisher (EA, Acti-Blizz, Ubisoft etc.) would buy them for cheap and ruin the Cyberpunk and Witcher franchises. As for Cyberpunk I think only a new, bug-free and COMPLETE game could redeem the videogame IP (tabletop seems fine). Maybe not even that's enough who knows. Our trust in CDPR delivering a good game was shaken.
Also, the investors lost money with the shares, yet Cyberpunk 2077's sales are still SUPER GREAT for a new IP. These investors are just greedy, I feel no sorry for them. The game sold more than 13.7 million copies. Maybe they shouldn't invest in similar new videogame IPs in the future. It's always a risk.

  8. CDPR should be fine in this for most part … It did run surprisingly well on Next Gen and Xbox One X. … besides your asking the company who you invested in a open ended question … so you got a open ended answer

  9. People are still reaeeeaaaally mad about this game lol. I was so damn mad as well, felt cheated just like everyone else. Most excited I’ve even been for a game, being my age I didn’t think that was possible anymore. Above all I’m more mad that they shit all over that and it’s now made us weary of ever being excited about a game in the future. Just plain Sad.

  10. This whole thing is absurd. Yes, it's pretty clear that the project was mismanaged, but the end result is no more buggy than Skyrim. And yes, I do feel pretty bad for the shareholders, but this lawsuit solves absolutely nothing. If anything, it just makes the situation worse. The lawyers are little more than profiteering predators.

  11. For those that worried about CDPR financial state wig they lost the lawsuit. CDPR also own GOG. Cyberpunk 2077 already made back the investment money. CDPR will be just fine. Instead, worried about the people who made the game. People who might be laid off to make profit for the shareholders.

  12. CDPR should be ashamed for fighting agains the lawsuits…
THAT IS WHY I am happy that no game gets me hyped up anymore and after it gets released, I still wait around and see how it is going (reviews, non-spoiling game footage etc., to get a feeling of what it means playing it).

AND BY FAR, NEVER DID I, NEVER WILL I PRE-ORDER STUFF!
    Music, movies, games…

You people are clearly so young and naive, cause I cannot imagine a 30 year old guy like me pre-ordering a game that never know WHEN or IF it will come out, eventually…

Yeah, your parents can lawsuit CDPR and Bethesda etc. all day long: STOP getting hyped up like crazy and pre-ordering shit.
Remain chill, companies and publishers have all the money they want, to produce a good game, even without your pre-order.
And that shiny virtual jacket or skin they promised you, if you pre-order, tell them to shove it… and wait for the release. Then wait some more.

And yes, your mates who pre-ordered can look down upon you and make jokes all they want, cause when shits the fan and you will be happy you did not pre-order and play your other games, while they ruined their weekend with an unfinished game, then you know why that saying is wise: „Cry now, laugh later…“. 😉

    This was it for me.
    Bye, bye, gaming world…
Going back to games that work, for the next years from now!
    Max Payne 1, Half-Life 1 & 2, Portal etc. here I come!

I heard playstation is a very good place to work these days all staff at all levels just got a bonus worth 12 months pay because of ps5 sales numbers.

  14. I will be surprised if this lawsuit goes anywhere. What Adam said can be interpreted in so many ways. If that’s what they got to go on in this lawsuit, good luck to them. Courts generally side with corporations in America as well. Investing is a gamble. They are taking a chance when they invest in a company. The courts will likely not feel any sympathy for the investors because of that also.
