Justice for Dum Dum
No, this is too crazy not to. Woolie you have to commit to using melee EXCLUSIVELY. I would never think to or want to on my own playthrough, if you were bold enough to slowly equip 3 different melee weapons without hesitation then COMMIT to your style.
"Who is going to grind 10k before the first mission?"
I find it amusing the Corpo when put out on the street can't figure out how to earn money, or thinks they are too good for it
"Whos gonna grind out 10000 eddies before the first mission?"
Choom, I go and do every scanner gig in Watson before I see Victor so I can pay him immediately and buy the bot. Then once Im dont act 1, I go do every scanner gig on the rest of the map because Im a masochist.
Picking up clothes permanently adds them to your wardrobe.
Holy shit never knew you could save brick.
everyone’s talking about grinding out the 10k before this mission but i’m the type of mf to grind out the 21k before seeing viktor………..
"Who's gonna grind out 10000 eddies before the first mission?"
As someone who does open world stuff to pay Vik the $21K for the cyberware before he asks for it…
This is gonna be wild. I just beat this game for the first time earlier this year and my run was nothing like what Woolie is going to play like I bet. Considering that this is the first type of western RPG he's ever played it's like a baby discovering video games for the first time. I'm optimistically looking forward to the next 100+ parts
It was kind of a wow moment to hear woolie say he's never really fully delved into a western RPG like this. That clears up a bit of the confusion about the side content. Can't wait for more, guys.
I did not know you could save Brick. Probably because I gave Royce the scrubbed datashard to screw over the Militech lady for being such an asshole.
If you can borrow a 4080 or 4090 it'd be worth it to play this game with Path Tracing, Ray Tracing ain't shit comparatively.
God I love Maelstrom so much. Never played the TTRPG but when I span through 2077 I found them so visually striking I had to know more, the lore was deep and really hooked me.
The game has a consistent enough visual language for containers and interactables that I think after a while the urge to quickscan everything will pass. If not, oh well. We're just going to have to deal with an OCD V.
Hmmmmmmmmm maaaybe Woolie can pull a 13 Sentinels and sacrifice an ep reading abt the lore from the notes he finds. It would mitigate the stop-go-stop-go pace…. ironically similar to novice drivers/old drivers lmao.
Having a lot of fun seeing your reactions to the game. I'm going to binge the crap out of this.
This is gonna be the longest straight-shot through the main story ever. Not because Woolie doesn't want to do side content, but he doesn't seem to realize WHEN he can do it (which is basically at any time), and instead just keeps doing the main mission because that's what the map tells him.
The worst storyline with the most potential.
How do you like pulling a gun on a guy you don't even own? Well get used to it! Every stupid cutscene refuses to just acknowledge that you own weapons so you pull this Glock-wannabe and try to act ULTRA TUFF. What happened to my shotgun that can peel open every opponent like a can of beans? Oh, sorry. We need dumb nothing stakes that fail to deliver.
Oh and Woolie, don't bother scanning everything. The game isn't that deep. You won't find big cinematic changes or even the ability to pull guns off of guys holding you up (what was advertised). You're literally just wasting time looking for meaning that isn't there.
Worst game! 2020 and onward!
Woolie’s over-literacy in video games is really gonna be tough in this one, he’ll have difficulty taking in information immersively without making assumptions based on the mechanics of other games that aren’t relevant.
Woolie…start doing sidequests if you eant the main story to really be fun and explorative, gonna feel jaded at the end missing out on all the laughs and smiles but also the expected way of progression to earn the most xp and abilities. Explore a lot more, missed a lot but that's fine, first run is lost and misunderstood by most fans of the genre let alone complete rookies to the systems. take it easy and enjoy the world is my advice, think KotoR not main campaign rush type game.
