  1. Looks like CDPR has discovered a money tree with the Cyberpunk IP. I wouldn't be surprised if both sales of the base game and the Phantom Liberty expansion increase as time goes on. Their forays into entertainment media on Netflix will continue to drive interest in the games, and the prospect of the Orion sequel will stay alive in everybody's mind. I only question whether they can equal the depth and complexity of the first game. My suspicion is that, like Edgerunners, Orion will feature a new story with a new cast of leading characters, although I hope for at least cameo appearances of characters we met in the first game. I think Orion will resemble Phantom Liberty in terms of its complex environment…we'll get 'more verticality' and more interiors that will blend the Night City we're familiar with, with new areas inside, outside, up to rooftops and Megatower floors, down to tunnels and underground installations much like what we saw in PL. The future of this dark, dystopian world…is bright!

  2. I loved the game, but I thought the story from the base game didn't encourage me to explore the world. You're on verge of death. The urgency of your condition makes side quests trivial.

  3. What I really want from CP2077 is a way to replay it but tell Dexter Deshaun to stuff it, like from the very beginning. To call him a cheap low down no good backstabbing lying floor mopping sheep herding no count sack of moldy refried beans. I want to say it right to his face when I first lay eyes on him.

  4. I thought edgrunners was very difficult to watch. It feels like a show written for children but with subject matter geared towards adults. I couldn’t imagine delivering a lot of those lines with a straight face. I’m waiting for phantom liberty to go on sale rn before I try it

  5. Honestly, if they just released more DLC's people would be happy with just that, cyberpunk 2077 is already MASSIVE, But than adding MORE DLC'S that introduce new areas, new items, new anything, people would be happy.

  6. It’s insane to me given the demand that cdpr isn’t doing more expansions or at least some small dlc. I’d pay good money to get some cut content like the Militech content restored, braindances, or at least more properties. People are going to lose interest over the next few years so we need content to keep the momentum.

  7. I won't lie, this is the Only real next gen experience I've played so far. I've seen them do well on the parts they actually worked on, but It's just too vast and big to work on its every corner. I'd face one side, have my jaws drop how gorgeous it is, only to be ruined by a stupid NPCs that's position awkwardly, or babbling scripted dialogues that didn't match the environment. It's just too ambitious in my opinion, and I still find it half-baked even after in its latest patches. Don't get me wrong, Phantom Liberty is freaking wild, but it's just too good that the base missions looked like dung in comparisson.
