This game's endings suck Dexter DeShawn fat ass -all bad in onther way…
My final mission was very different….I killed Reed, and had to go to Arasaka to get 'cured.' That didn't work very well.
First they took his cyberware, then they took his eyebrows…
Mmmm cant say this ending was any better than the base endings , would have been nice for an ending rhat could have had a continuation for next cyberpunk game really.
I had to come watch this because my game crashed on the credits 😅 this was a great ending
Waking up to find all the messages from the years you missed hurts, espically from Panam. That's actually super sad.
Depressing but this one is the realest ending out of all the endings for me
he is not cured. HE IS CURSED thanks to CDRP for showing that V without implants is empty space! (NO!) this is the worst ending
Glad I zeroed Reed and saved So Mi, this ending just is meh
I just got this ending for the first time. I'm so disappointed how Panam just gives up on V. Like damn. It's not his fault.
Such an classic anime ending. come from nothin, rise to the top..the very top, only to lose it all while surviving all in all, reminds me of All Might and every other many many Anime protagonists who got so far only to lose it all for the best ending they could find for themselves along with no major sacrifice for those they care for.. besides themselves ofcourse, but me, can’t do it. on my strongest V playthrough yet. can’t lose all that, I’ll just imagine The nomads found V a cure in time and that he didn’t wind up like Johnny in an un marked grave, ya just can’t have a classic whimsical happy ending in NC huh, take it back to what Dex said, Blaze o glory..or Quiet life..aye choom? One things for sure I didn’t come this far and neither did Jackie die for us to become a nobody and worse then where we started
I don't know why V didn't call his friends and loved ones to tell them he would have a surgery to cure himself and he could be out for a while, it's what any person would do, i think,.
I feel like saying "Thank you" to Reed would mean the world to him. Two years wondering what was the point of that story if he couldn't save So Mi, and in the end, he at least gets the consolation he helped save a life.
That if you don't betray him at Hansen's, only to backstab So Mi at the end. In that case, he probably wouldn't give a shit.
meh, I don't buy this ending. I was so much more than my chrome on my playthrough. With all the contacts and connections I made, all the cars bought and the huge stashes of highest tier weapons plus the job experience and the massive amounts of cash in my pocket I could start a new life or become a fixer myself. Hands would surely take me under his wings and show me the ropes after the strong relationship we built. Or I will just happily retire in wealth and just invest my eddies smartly. Who would I really miss from that merc life? Viktor never felt like a close friend, never cared for Misty, Panam always acted like a self-centered, needy, egotistical c-word, Ward is too wrapped up in his cop identity and I don't feel connected to Johnny's old gang of 90 year olds. Only one who became a good and considerate friend was Judy and I would be glad that she ended up happy outside NC. So just close that chapter, start a new life with all those ressources from the last and get some better, less problematic friends. This really didn't need to be so forced depressive.
Said it once, said it twice and I’ll say it again, Nusa nerfed V for their safety seeing that a potential candidate (V) as capable and unpredictable as he is would have to dim a little light of that shine of his to join the squad…I mean who tf could take down Adam smasher (base ending) and or Reed/ Songbird with only two weeks of experience against the big dogs at the table cuz mind you the year and a half later with Jackie they weren’t in the big leagues going against the big dogs they were small town pups doing little stuff and then the arasaka score came along..which means Peak V was within a span of like two weeks canon confirmed, I’d nerf V too Two weeks at the big boy table and all that happens with him on top, who wouldn’t press the nerf button
Actually, in a since V did a lot of amazing things, to become a legend you simply have to die a legend or having done some legendary things, he's already done all that and was a living legend who suddenly vanished and everyone thought he was dead. The difference is that he's actually alive but everyone else thinks he died a legend. All his friends did exactly the same thing they always have done when V dies the only difference was how he died honestly you just got to see what the do after a few months or even years of thinking you was dead, they cried then got over it and moved on as they've always have done. in Reflection. (YOU GOT TO DIE A LEGEND, AND LIVE OUT YOUR LIFE SMELLING OF PEE AS AN OLD NOBODY) all at the same time. Bet anything there's a drink called V in the afterlife, cheers to you legend.
The most sad ending by far. Yeah, you live. But Songbird is left a slave (or dead), the NUSA gets away with everything they used songbird for, everyone you knew left you, you can't return to your former life (or any real life in NC for that matter) and your only option out to a maybe comfortable life is as a peon to the country that is supposed to owe *you*. The country that we know for a fact is unstable, and evil. And we know it doesn't treat its agents well. You're alive, but the worlds completely passed you by. You aren't really living. You're just sticking around for a longer, more painful ride than before.
Nawh, this shit is boring as an ending. I am jumping with alt to the cyberheaven, hahah!
one flaw to this story is that you would never survive a sensitivity to chrome after the fact. I mean you'd basically have limbs, bones and organs replaced already. How can you reverse that?
Really if V’s friends hadn’t ALL decided to abandon him it wouldn’t have been so bad for him at least (sorry Johnny). I hate to say it and I know two years is a long time, but it really shows who cares about him and who doesn’t. A majority of his friends only needed V because of his abilities. When you got rid of those abilities everyone reacts in a way that seems like he might be better off dead.
In reality I like to think of this ending more like the end of the movie Cast Away. You’re not going back to your old life/career but you have most of your life ahead of you in a place that doesn’t ideally involve NC.
My favorite ending though is still with PM.
Take note how “Never Fade Away” didn’t play in this ending before cut to the credit. Because V did fade away…into the crowds. In a way, even Johnny knew, because he didn’t asked V to never give up the fight like he did in the other endings, but just to not let anyone change who he is.
Why did misty steal your jacket???
Man, seeing V just be some nobody, with barely any friends, no cyberware, nothing… it’s depressing but bittersweet… yeah V gets to live… but at what cost? It almost seemed like V turning into some legend or leaving with the Aldecados is more worth it, despite not knowing if V gets to live or not
This is the ending we all want if we were living in Night City ourselves
I honestly don’t think it’s that bad of an ending, sure people have moved on but that’s life. No point getting bent outta shape over it, I still think 2 years is nothing so like how much changed is crazy in my opinion. V isn’t helpless so I don’t know why the game makes it seem like he can’t do anything. In the very beginning of the game you literally have no implants. In the street kid life path you come back to night city after being gone for 2 years, without any implants. And V is still looked as someone that could get shit done. Other than that I refuse to believe that having no implants means you can’t do anything. There has to be people who refuse cybernetics and are still capable of some extreme feats. Or people that see them as crutch or as a cheat.
