  1. The Steam Deck may not be ideal for 2024 or 2025; you can achieve over 60 FPS, but only at Minecraft-quality settings. Valve really needs to upgrade the Steam Deck, or it might become unplayable.

  2. The graphics look lawful. Even the Nintendo Switch in portable mode doesn’t have a have that look that bad! It’s sometimes not a problem to admit the game can’t run in a platform. I can’t see a thing even watching from an iPhone 15 PRO, that has similar screen size than Steam Deck.

  3. Just tried it on my main pc, the blur is just so bad. Wheels when they turn are so pixely and blurry, looks like poorly rendered hair strands with extra noise, and the extra frame gen at speeds when driving has visible shadow artifacting that looks like it's using some real time ai that can't keep up. the 3.1 mod does a much better job.

  4. The FSR3 implementation is atrocious. It has weird "blobby" and shimmering artifacts that almost appear at random. Either as occlusion artifacts, other times at semi-transparent textures like fences grass, and other sorts of vegetation, sometimes it seems to happen due to light sources. This kind of artifact isn't present in 2.1 and if you install the community made mod for FSR3 (that uses the DLSS render path) it looks super clean, very little shimmering, like FSR should look today. It's almost like there's a financial interest for the CDPRs partnership with Nvidia to make DLSS look several leagues better than FSR. when in reality they're quite close if it's a good implementation of the FSR3.1.

  5. So wild that you're able to run this 72-75 fps, but I could imagine easily running this 90fps with Steamdeck 2, with medium settings, maybe even some high settings.

It's crazy that we've gone from 20fps Witcher 3 on Switch to Cyberpunk running over 60 fps in medium settings in just 7 years, with a mobile technology (Steamdeck) that is already 2 years old, on game that is about 1 years old (lets just all agree expansion was the real release date).

If someone showed this to me when I was 10 years younger, that you could run this advanced game on mobile, with 5x framerates that Skyrim could run on PlayStation 3, I would say "you must have come from year 2040, there's no way this is going to arrive in 10 years."
