  1. A cool easter egg i found during Phantom Liberty was a reference to the 007 Movie Skyfall. During the You Know My Name quest (which is another Bond movie reference, You Know My Name is the theme for Casino Royale, Daniel Craig’s debut) there’s a segment where you have to knock out a sniper in front of a giant screen with blue lights strobing around. That’s almost exactly pulled from a sequence in Skyfall where Bond does the same thing with the same blue light screen in the background.

  2. Brilliant as usual. For the ironclad quest, I didn't find it yet but I suspected there was one since one of the NPC in this area talk about that (I'm not 100% sure but I think it's the drug merchant).

  3. I'm on series X and sadly the Patch 2.01 and PL are borked as a fork with twisted spikes. Police cars lowriders that drive in the ground. Message for the car doesn't come at any point, finished the OL story nothing, V2 is level 50 opus last… no message. V3 hasn't met the VBs so far none message plainly bugged as fork…

  4. I think that every questline where Mr. Blue-Eyes is involved is gonna be the canon-ending for a potential sequel.
Talking sending So-Mi to the moon, the Peralez questline, V doing the ultimate heist (which has the biggest question-mark vibes for an open ending anyways).

Mr.Blue-Eyes really is the greatest mystery and I wouldn't mind seeing much more of him in the future.

  5. I mightve agreed on the mr.hands thing but morgan is supposed to look like george clooney, whereas mr.hands looks more like ben kingsley with a divine beard
Also another thing in the garage segment, if your tech is high enough you can ignore the platforms songbird helps you with and go your own way, and she'll be mildly impressed, was cool to see on my 2nd playthrough

  6. Idk if this is in the video, but after I saw Lizzy Wizzy's concert in Phantom Liberty, I did her side quest in the vanilla game and V brought up the fact that she was there.

  7. Hey Handsome, I loved the video. The only Easter Egg I missed was Mr. Blue Eyes in the Helping SongBird Ending. I've played all 5 endings but decided to keep the Helping SongBird ending (killing Reed) as my play through for two reasons. 1. V continues as a Netrunner and the game continues. 2. [My Hypothesis] SongBird will keep her promise to help V. Later after the ending V receives a message from SongBird (or Mr Blue Eyes) on the location of the Quantum Tuner. This Cyber Mod is Awesome. I have built an almost indestructible – auto healing – Net runner build using it. Only MaxTac can kill V one-on-one. So… I believe there may come a DLC in the future with SongBird and Mr Blue Eyes where the relic is finally removed. Again this is my hypothesis and I'm hoping it will be so. …Looking forward to a comprehensive video on FF06B5.

  8. Mr. blue eyes has us send so mi to the moon to then on the sun ending where Mr. blue eyes then sends us to then coordinate some planned attack between the two, at least that’s how my head cannon is working it out

  9. All endings could move towards the same future world state. Except Saka ending Saka is weakened and probably fully withdrawals from the NC and area. Even the Saka ending could be pushed toward a big backlash for creating an immortality Relic for Saburo and moving Saka out. Especially when blue-eyes will use any ally to do that.

  11. So the Mr. Hands hair thing is probably a nod to the fact that people used to believe, pre update, that that's who he was. Also funny enough there's in game lore to suggest that there's a way V can actually survive but it's also the way that AI would be able to touch this world.

  12. The suspicious traveler in my game was male and looked like a generic NPC. I later saw him together with Reed when he was speaking with Myers on the roof.

  13. Tez, look closer at the Future mag's cover. It's from Deus Ex HR and so on, the style. Also it's sort of a nod to Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep…. Deckard had, in the book, a replicant sheep. 🙂

Money is only a problem right at the beginning. I've 1.5 million eddies in my pocket.. 🙂

  14. The statue means nothing, it is just a world flavoring. It doesn't mean give up, it does not represent the blackwall, it does not represent hindu gods even though it might be inspired by them. FF:06:B5 is just a bug. It was bug all along. It was a bug in an extremely bugged game. The belt should have been magenta as you can see on the statue in Arasaka 3D, but it bugged out and wrote the color code on the statue base. It was literally nothing somebody paranoid turned into an easter egg. That is why it was initially in default red plaintext and later they changed it to golden glowing. That is why they mock the reddit in the polyhistor's notes. That is why the QR code in the cube mocks literally "fools that are finding patterns where there are none". That is why the new dev laughed when they was revealed the "secret". That is why it was solvable all along even though they added every bit of lore around it in 2.0.

And – by the way, the Polyhistor is not watching the player, but a dev. It is a bugged character that gets deleted. A bugged character that bugged out when he saw a bug on the statue.

  15. So there's two suspicious travellers with Reed and Myers on the roof, one comes down the stairs out of the chopper and one already seems to be there. The one who comes down the stairs has a randomised appearance on my multiple loads (the first guy actually looked like the non golden bartender from Konpeki which I thought was a cool easter egg lol) but the one who already is there is always the same. I didn't have a conveniant save to check, but I suspect it's the same suspicous traveller from the airport (didn't actually see them on my playthrough) that is a NUS agent.

Additionally if you jump in the camera frame of the reporters at the airport, Song Mi gets quite pissed at you which is funny, I thought that's how NUS clocked we were there but it must be the suspicious traveller that clocks you walking through the terminal.

  16. Don't know if its been mentioned previously but I found a male body and a robot laying by a motorbike and a truck, all in a storm drain behind some very smoky works in Aroyo. And reading the shard next to them, it details the male was Jimmy Connors and the robot was programmed to terminate him….. Wonder what 1980s movie that was referencing ? 🤣

  17. I like to think the sequel will have a feature like in the Witcher 3 where you can simulate your save from the Witcher 2 by answering questions in the prologue that mirror choices you had to make in the Witcher 2

  18. I dont think this really counts as a small detail but
when finishing off the chimera, theres a unique animation for each bit of arm cyberwear
mantis blades will stab the core
gorrila arms will grab it and rip it out

ive yet to see what PLS and Monowire do though

  19. There's also a Death Stranding baby in a case in the lab that's during the River quest line.

I didn't see the Takemura lines in PL. (Just a 'he died' response line.) Probably because he died in my playthrough. Apparently there's a way to save him during the raid? Two playthroughs and I have no idea how to do that.

You are assuming the second game will follow the first. In the first version of the pen and paper game events take place in 2020. The current/following rules are in 2045. There is a full history dating back to the 90s. They have a LOT to pull from. Also, I'd heard it was just an open world game where you did whatever until VERY late in development where they threw in the Johnny Silverhand / Keanu Reeves stuff. It's tough to imagine it without, but I wouldn't be surprised if the second game was just that, a more pure open world game where you don't have a ghost in your head.

Other reviewers have said if you nope out of the PL questline, that's pretty much it. I'd assume you still have the zone and things like random gigs, but the majority of the DLC is apparently blocked if you nope out. (Which is mind boggling it would be a permanent choice for the character like that.)

  20. oh when you didn't do the peralez' quest you can wish holt good luck for the upcoming election
the lottery text comes as soon as you finish konpeki plaza
the flame effect is technically a headlight, if your headlight breaks it's gone, there is a mod that lets you increase headlight durability
regarding blue eyes, he is also kinda the center piece of the base game, the voodoos after all only wanted the relic to get past the blackwall, which is how that whole thing started
money is not that hard btw. just don't dismantle guns, sell them, dismantling clothes will get you enough mats and guns sell for 10 times as much easy as clothes

  21. I think the suspicious traveller in the airport is Songbird taking over people or as hologram form checking up on you. If you take a picture with the boxing fan that you can encounter there she talks to you as the npc/hologram way and their eyes light up blue.
