29 Cyberpunk 2077, 2022 Ultra Modded Nomad, Gimme Danger
This is a Katana and throwing knife build Nomad playthrough of Cyberpunk 2077 patch 1.6 played in 1440p Ultra settings with Raytracing set to Ultra and DLSS set to balanced.
Hey, how ya doin Choomba! I was gonna to wait until Phantom Liberty came out for my Nomad playthrough but something happened. Cyberpunk Edgerunners happened. Edgerunners took me through the emotional ringer. I fell in love with every character in the show. When I finished the last episode I had a dull feeling of bittersweet melancholy. Such a sad yet satisfying ending. Edgerunners had me so hyped I just couldn’t wait to start my Nomad Playthrough.
This video is all about my Mod load out. I’m not going to go through every single mod, but, in the links below you’ll be able to easily install everything for yourselves.
So here we go. This load out is based around the “Welcome to Night City,” Collection off of nexusmods.com. I found this collection had the vast majority of my old loadout plus a whole bunch of other mods I didn’t even know about. And it is so easy to install everything. It’s like nexusmod’s version of wabbajack for Skyrim. It uses Vortex as the mod manager. It never occurred to me to use Vortex because I hated it for Skyrim. But for Cyberpunk, its the bee’s knees Hermano.
After installing that I disabled all of the mods that were not safe for YouTube. Also, you’re gonna want to disable:
Welcome to Night City – Faster Active Control Prompts. It breaks your mouse during Photomode.
Also don’t forget to install REDMOD. Its CDprojektRED’s modding tool they released to the community. I really hope this tool is as robust as the creation kit for Skyrim. Can you imagine the possibilities? And don’t forget to enable Mods in the GoG launcher here. You won’t see this option until you install the collection.
On top of this collection I installed a handful of mods of my own.

So Yorinobu is relying heavily on NCPD to provide security (while his own security detail is hidden). That is actually very considerate of Yorinobu, since people are less antagonistic to their local police force than they are to Corpos. (Not much less antagonistic, but at least not despised as much as Arasaka.)
Takemura would have found offense to Yorinobu whether or not Yorinobu had the parade.
Possibly try putting Skippy in the Stash and taking it out again? If you are aiming for the dialogue between Skippy and (Delemain/Excelsior/Junior), not only do you need it in hand, but you need to get Skippy to speak while close to the car, which he normally does after you shoot someone. So what you would do would be to pull up the car close to some gangers, then kill the gangers close to the car.
So the Yakitori sold by the vendor was either made just using the protein past made by Wholefoods, or worst case scenario, made with rats or roaches. Either way, it was not likely to be made with what we would consider edible meat. I don't think it was sawdust and plastic, but it probably tasted like it.
Yorinobu is moving fast. Provoking Militech and NUSA with accusations that they are the guilty party, which leads to NUSA pressing sanctions on other Arasaka facilities in NUSA jurisdiction? Ramping up speed to a 5th Corporate War? Why is Yorinobu 'setting fire to Arasaka's insides' after taking control of it?
Michiko (Saburo's Granddaughter, daughter of the Eldest son who was supposed to be the next head until he was 'encouraged' to commit Seppuku during the 4th War) is actually fairly sympathetic to the people of Night City, and has relatively peaceful relations with Militech and NUSA. She renounced ties to the Arasaka Corp and petitioned for citizenship as a political refugee. For several years she actually worked as a high profile private investigator and even had a TV series following her around. Not quite sure how she came back into the fold (possibly Arasaka bought out her company and then promoted her to the board.) So, while Michiko is likely on a somewhat tight leash, her leash is looser than Yorninobu (who was kept on a VERY tight leash so that Saburo could keep a close eye in watching Yorinobu) due to the fact that she did not attempt to destroy the Arasaka legacy and her renouncing the family during the 4th War could be seen as just her trying to preserve her own life during the conflict.
I am not sure what you missed, but Takemura only asks if your planning of Konpeki plaza was of similar quality, hinting that everything went bad due to how poorly you planned and did not take the mission seriously if you did not scan everything. If you do scan everything then Takemura is impressed and does not critic your planning.
T-Bug was not that sociable to begin with, and I got the impression that she was an extremely recent addition to the team, so new that she did not consider herself part of the team, even when Jackie tried including her. I think most Netrunners avoid being sociable and avoid forming connections because of what they do. I think the only sociable Netrunners I ever read about were Bartmoss and Murphy, and they were sociable only because they were supremely confident in their skills (confident to the point that if they weren't as skilled as they were, they would have been seen as cocky.)
Pulling an Engram using Soulkiller on a dead body? Damaged and incomplete but still an engram? How damaged of an engram are we talking about? Could it be that Johnny was a damaged/incomplete engram pulled from a dead body, rather than forced into Soulkiller like his memory suggests? Especially since what happened at Arasaka tower was actually very different from what was portrayed (including missing Blackhand entirely, who actually played a massive role in the mission, was the point man who was working as Militech's agent and was the lead man in the mission, and was actually the person who was last seen fighting Smasher on the Roof, not Silverhand.)
The cat seemed to be able to see Johny, and followed him over the edge. Your mod changed the cat model, but it was originally a breed of cat I believe called a Sphynx, and I recall speculation on some theory videos about the Cat supposing to be a guide to the afterlife that keeps an eye on lost souls, but I have not been able to find info to verify it.
So the struggle when you attempted to use the knife while climbing the ladder would have happened with any weapon, you can't use weapons while on a ladder. That computer where you saw the email about the Shingen, there was a tab for local network that you could have used to turn off all the cameras. Do you have the stealth knives mod? That would prevent enemies from hearing you throw the knives. And the guy that walked into you did raise the alarm before you killed him, that was what got you into combat.
It is your playthrough, and knives are not for everyone, though you had been one-shotting everyone you threw the knives at. If you do plan on moving to sword and handguns, I would recommend resetting your perk tree and rebuilding from scratch, to get more points into gun and the perks that apply to swords specifically rather than any you have that are in knives specifically. A warning, I don't think that the smart guns can be silenced, so you will want a sword, smart gun, and non-smart pistol (with silencer for when you need stealth range.)
I still have your old stem deck and it’s working great! I beat cyberpunk on it!!!
Heyheyhey, no switching out now! It is a knives and swords run, switching to guns now would end up making it too easy.
