  1. Interesting enough if you search youtube there’s a video from 6 months ago showing the David Martinez drink has been in the game. Showing us they’ve either had this planned or they just chose it. If it’s the former, which I believe it is, it made me respect cdpr a lot more.

  2. A lot of these locations are part of V's story and you'll end up near them or at them at some point during the game. I think it's cool that they went all in to recreate these locations for the anime.

  3. i have to say, edgerunners is how you do game inspired tv/movie media. they tried things like a WoW movie, mario has had many movies, so on and so forth, but the recurring theme, barring for sonic the hedgehog for some reason and like, pokemon, is that video game visual media typically flops big time. edgerunners really just shows the way to do it right. lets be honest, it perfectly portrays a prime example of the tale of icarus. (spoilers from here) David flew too close to the sun, literally. once he got to the top, he burned his wings and came down and 'drowned'. it also has a good romance with he and lucy, it almost gives me a "this is what it felt like with V and judy at the end". all in all cyberpunk edgerunners was a fantastic work of art. and 2077 as a game, counts just as much. both are a masterpiece, though the game had its flaws, the artistry of the game was a complete masterpiece.

  4. Tbh i want season two or more Cyberpunk anime series. Say what you want about the game. Sure the game is still a bit buggy glitchy crashy and frozy but not as the stage at release thank the gaming gods for that. But the game is just beautiful to look at just like this anime.

  5. It's funny. I had forgotten about the edge runners show being a thing along with the update and came back in to play because I wanted to finally give the game my attention. I went to Afterlife and got Jackie's Drink and i decided to look at the other ones and I saw (SPOILERS)

the David Martinez, thinking he was a character I'll hear about in-game. Imagine my shock when i start watching the show. This show is such a perfect companion to the game it's not even funny.

  6. Sad there'll be only one expansion in the end. The city is so massive, got so much unique vistas and so much character. It could have been a canvas for dozens of full featured stories.

  7. There was also a scene in a diner that looks to be Tom's Diner near V's apartment in Watson. In the anime, the characters are sitting in the second booth from the left; the table in the first booth has a sticker on it that looked about the same as the sticker on the table when V and Takemura meet, after V has recovered from the heist.
