it’s painful and annoying input when trying to be stealthy and you accidently dodge out of cover while trying to make micro adjustments.
TIPS:
I also changed Key binding for Toggle crouch to CTRL and Hold to Crouch to a Mouse side button so I can double tap that while moving to initiate a dodge instead!

I'd club a penguin to remap dodge to tap shift.
and for third person perspective.
And to have the basic feature of being able to edit your character later, at least with a limited barber mechanic.
And to actually preview your character when you're buying new clothes and stuff.
And an ending that wasn't suicide or still dying.

Came here to find a fix with a lot of frustration, after the video I am at ease.
They never play-tested their own game. This double-tap dodge mechanic is so atrociously awful. If you do it in a civilian area, civilians will think you're attacking them and will call the cops.
thank god I was doing a mission and rolled into NCPD and they instantly open fired on me -_-

Imagine how bad your game has to be for people to swarm and look for a way to remove a mechanic from your game.
The only problem I have with this is every time I go to open my Inputdeadzone folder my file application crashes so I can't even open it up this way….
When I change to this setting i get "NONE" as keybinds in-game. Nothing works 🙁

The mechanic is actually crucial for the fastest possible travel method in the game.
You can literally travel faster on foot than you can in any car in the game.
