In today’s video, we take a look at Cyberpunk’s best girl, Panam Palmer. It was really nice to play through her quests again. The nomad quests weren’t my favourite storyline in my earlier playthroughs, but I came to appreciate it a lot more this time around. Even right down to the soundtrack, how the simple guitar is contrasted with the otherwise bombastic soundtrack of 2077, just feels so rich.

Panam and the Aldecaldos are pretty awesome, though I will say, the Aldecaldos ARE UNDERUSEDDDD lol we need more sidequests! And Saul is also underrated. Absolute unit.

While Phantom Liberty’s ending is still my favourite, the Star ending is awesome as well. It’s very hopeful, and it’s nice to know that V is gonna end up surrounded by good people.

Thank you so much for watching! 😀 Let me know what you think in the comments below. Until next time guys! Have a great weekend!

  2. Im going with Judy as the best romance option, think about it, River is a deadbeat uncle who is very unstable, prone to violence and super creepy (cmon, you guys get done with saving his nephew from possibly the most traumatic experience of his life and the next day on the holo River starts the call with "I miss you"??? THAT WASNT A DATE!!!! (His credit scene in the face in the crowd ending further supports this) hooking up with him will end with one of you in a Night City Landfill and cmon, after talking about how good you would be together he takes you up to his super romance spot, start getting lovey and "Oh sorry, not into dudes.." NOT COOL DUDE!!! Lady V, This dude needs to be single.

Kerry, while it could be fun for a bit, he has a lot of issues to work out with first, plus that rocker lifestyle would wear out REALLY fast. You hook up with him and he wont have time for you after a while. Too busy making music. (Only for man V though, while Kerry did have a wife and kids, he only has eyes for the fellas)

Judy, while she can let her emotions get the best of her at times, shes quick to apologize. Has her own apartment, a stable job, and who knows what kind of mischief you two could whip up if she taught you how to edit like she does. Every day could be a whole new experience. Definitely the one V could see herself with. (Sorry Man V)

Then we get to Panam.. Whiny, manipulative, gaslighting, first to fly off the handle when things dont go her way or get the answer she wants to hear. Was broke and homeless stealing a station wagon when we met her and still would be if the Clan hadnt taken her back. If you are man V and into that kind of thing, more power to you.. But keep one thing in mind. other than the showers she takes at your place after you start dating her, who knows when that last time this Desert Landfill Lotus cleaned up (Health code violation indeed) Man V? if you go there, wear a condom, wear 5, who knows what creepy crawlies are in that sand tunnel.. Lady V? DEFINITELY Dodged a bullet there, she doesnt swing that way.

  3. Another one in the books, solid synopsis Lydi!
I honestly need to actually sit down and play Cyberpunk.

Also congrats on the sponsorship and getting close to 25k!!

Keep up the good work 👍

  4. The 'Star' ending was my first ending since my Male Nomad V is already in a relationship with Panam and I had no desire to let her down.

However, in my second playthrough with my Corpo V, I ended with the 'Sun' ending since I respect Rogue. However, the 'Devil' ending would've been extremely tempting since Hanako was very convincing.

  5. The only true happy ending is being out of night city with Panam with hope in your heart and knowing no matter what happen you'll be surrounded by people that love you.

You have overcome the cruelty of the world Cyberpunk 2077

  6. I see her as a self obsessed egotist. She is a walking red flag who only really cares for herself. Her families value of loyalty may push her to make some selfless decisions but always with protest. Walking red flag pretty much like all the "romance characters".

  7. You should do a deep dive into so mi/songbird at some point. The ending were you side with Reed over songbird really gives you a look as to how screwed she was from the start by her own government.

Virtually coursed into something she had no interest in and gave her friendships body and mind for it.

In my opinion one of the most tragic and depressing stories in night city when you really unravel it all.

  8. I personally like River. I mean on top of him having some dense Blade Runner energy in his design, he probably changes more radically than anyone else by the end. In one of the endings, he like smuggles out some weapons for an armed rebel group. The only way he'd be anymore punk is if he got some liberty spikes.

  9. The ending to Phantom Liberty that sucked has her turn on V so hard, and it pissed me off. That is NOT how Panam works! If V broke contact, she would hunt her down to the ends of the Earth. She told Vik where she is going before she does. Panam would go to him, be told what is happening, and while she would be mad at V for not telling her, she wouldn't just assume that V abandoned her. For all the reasons I hate the Phantom Liberty secret ending, that is right up there.

  10. It’s so stupid that people are mad that she doesn’t respond to v after the phantom liberty ending. Panam literally knew v for a month and then he just disappears without notice or response for 2 years of course she would be mad

  11. I think the main thing that makes me dislike Panam is that she feels so pushed to be best girl. She is the only one of the romance options that can do anything to help you in the ending. Doesn't matter how much you love Judy, Kerry, or River, they are inherently less important characters than Panam because of the fact they have nothing to counterbalance the Star ending.

  12. A small perspective addition, if anyone cares. As a tabletop player/GM one thing that doesn't get clarified in CP77 is the vast size of the 'Cados. Saul represents a single family of the Nomad Nation. The Aldacados are perhaps the largest of all the Nomad nations (in-game repeated mentions imply Snake Nation may have userped that position). There are Aldacados all across North and South America. This is important, specifically because of Rouge. She was, ahem, intensely involved with the actual leader of the entire Nation in the past (seen in flashbacks to the botched rescue in the game). She even has a Son by him (like 95% certain per CP RED and background child-drawn pictures in the video game).
Keeping this in mind, while she may well have extremely conflicting thoughts regarding Jonny, she has a vested interest in the Aldacados. There is no way that a Fixer of her caliber hasn't gotten wind of a potential deal between a 'Cado family and a Megacorp. I could 100% see her setting Panam (anyone else notice that is the shortened form of 'Panamerican', as in North and South America… Or, you know… the Aldacados turf) up to either 'Make or Break' her to take the family over or let them burn out? Pruning the branches if needed seems like a thing she would absolutely do both from a Video game AND tabletop perspective.
Anyway, a bit of perspective and my thoughts.

  13. As for the endings, I so wanted a Don't Fear the Reaper run with a Star ending that has Saul alive just as the DftR Sun ending has Rogue alive. "Just had to take care of a few things before we left, Pan Am".

  14. This made me realize i never even question my decision making around panam, 3 play throughs, always the same trying to rescue her, i guess i dont always let her save v, but v always tries to have her back

  15. When playing for the first time I finished Rivers quest the whole romance angle felt… weird, out of nowhere and didn't make sense on how we got to that point. And fact he doesn't seem to be all that relevant after that is really frustrating too…

  16. 03:10 My mind was blown hearing that Panam is an Indigenous person, now that makes me happy to hear and see that Indigenous/Native American people are represented in a game that I like/love! 🥰
Edit: Also doing a quick search gave me a revelation that River Ward is also another representative, even if I don't like his personality. lol

  17. Sorry but Panam seems very emotionally manipulating,
Bit like Judy , don’t see why CDPR added similar manipulating tendencies to Panam and Judy, (Kill someone, then I will date you V).
No wonder both Panam and Judy , have no time to even check on Vs wellbeing for two years, then both abandon V , (Nomad V, who basically grew up under the same conditions as Panam), when V is at her most vulnerable and No longer of any use to them. (Certain Phantom Liberty ending)
