I have a feeling CDPR will be using red engine as a test bed for features , then they'll port or mimic those features over to Unreal Engine . Then the positive, well benefit from these small patches like we've been getting . Just my guess……
Love cyberpunk 2077 I think they should of stuck to there red engine all the work they've done just to throw it all away start agen makes me a bit nervous and ye make it a good single player game not every game needs a tacked on multiplayer
I’m glad to hear they’re mostly sticking with a single player focus. Just hope they give us a perspective option in the next game. I don’t hate first person but generally I’m used to third.
If they DID try to make it live service, I'd skip it entirely. I love the first one, a story with a beginning and an ending, and I'd like to see them expand on that. Know what you're good at. I'm getting tired of watching some of my favorite studios tumble after trying to release live service. Arkane, especially. I don't want to play the same game forever, and I don't want my wallet on drip-feed to one of these corporations. F Live Service.
We gamers don't want some live service because they're all bullshit and they're all pieces of crap. Arrowhead with helldivers 2 has shown us you can do a live service and do it really well if you're actually committed and if your game studio gives a shit and isn't in it for the money and is in it for the community and make your game enjoyable long-term. The thing we hundred percent want is co-op or being able to play with your friends in some way. Borderlands series has a down pretty good You do a quest that you're not on and your game yet when you get back to your game and you get to that point hey you can replay it or you can skip it. They have a great mission progression system. We won an online where we can play with our friends or do co-op in some capacity just so we can have a little more extra fun.
Should I complete the main story and then start phantom liberty? I’ve not played this for a while now, looking forward to diving back and trying out the dlc
if they make it multi player than having merc groups in their own servers with your homies and homegirls doing their own heists and gigs…. that would be absolutely hot shit!!
I'm glad it'll be awhile before releasing, because there are other games on my plate atm, and only so much time to play them all. As a PC player only, Horizon: Forbideen West (PC version), will be releasing on March 21st and I'll be jumping right into that game and try to complete it, as best I can, in under 2 months, because then Ghost of Tsushima Director's Cut (PC version), will be releasing one day after my birthday, on May 16th, and I plan on playying that game to death and at least and up to the release of my all-time most anticipated game in my lifetime (I'm 64 now and I've played around 1000 PC games in that time), which is Crimson Desert, which I will be playing for the rest of my life, up until I can no longer play, due to health issues. Then there's Beyond Good & Evil 2 and The Elder Scrolls 6 that I would also like to play, before my forced retirement from gaming. I will be pre-purchasing Cyberpunk 2077: Project Orion, plus a few other games as well, before my gaming days come to an end. Take care! 😎
It’s such a shame Cdpr abandoned the red engine for un5 . They should of stuck to the red engine and upgrade it just how like rockstar does with their engine. Every game is going feel and look the same since almost every developer is using ur5 .
I agree that the story shouldn't be on a timer or feel like it. It just doesn't work for open world games and I really don't know why writers insist on doing it. RDR2 worked because the "timer" was near the end of the game but playing a full open world game with side quests and characters to interact with in a game where the worlds going to end or you're dying or trying to find your adopted daughter while she's being hunted by slavers from another world who want her elder blood or closing gates to oblivion or trying to stop galaxy from being harvested or stopping a dragon from eating the world is just awful writing for an open world game. If you're going to do something like that then make it like The Getaway or something. The story should always fit the mechanics of the game. It needs to make sense to go off and do side quests. Otherwise it's like playing two separate games
I'd like to see more life sim stuff added to Orion. I love the missions and combat but sometimes I want to just live in Night City. Official VR support would be amazing too
It was bad that ray tracing upgraded our PC to next level but cyberpunk released a game not ready for it and they really tried to gloss over it but ended up breaking the mechanics. Do I waited and gave them time to redo it and then they released phantom liberty and I played it from the start and I am soo glad I waited! I really enjoyed it and would love them to rebuild the concept from the ground up in a sequel I’m really excited for if!!
CDPR need to take a long hard look at the character creation is things like Black Desert, the WWE games, and the upcoming Dragon's Dogma II and take cues from them for Orion's customization system. As much as I appreciate the work modders put into custom body assets and outfits, it'd be nice to at least cut out the need some of the simpler things if it's already built in to the game.
I hope the UEVR Injector will work with Cyberpunk 2077, allowing us to play it in VR since it uses Unreal Engine 5. But you will need a monster of a PC hehe.
Good to see you back, it has been a minute. Enjoyed this video. Yes, I like the dark tone as it, and would like to see more. As far as the cybernetics go, that does sound good but it really kind of point less in my opinion if you don't have some 3rd person, and I would like to see that in the cut scenes. That way you keep the first person flavor and you get to see your character creation when you go into conversations or into your apartment, and of course having the option to switch to either would be nice. I too would like to keep it single player I don't really care for playing online, but I know there are those that do, so maybe have the option to do so, but that is like creating to totally different games in one, and that may delay the release of the game.
Honestly, I’m afraid of the direction cd project red is going. Last week I saw a video of a spokesperson(?) for cd project red mentioning DEI. Starting with the Witcher and my guess that Orion will not escape that horrible fate. If so, hopefully we can mod that shid out of the game on pc.
I love cyberpunk!!! Can’t wait to play the new Cyberpunk 2 but I still hope to see more content added to Cyberpunk 2077 cuz I’d love to play a new DLC like Phantom Liberty since it’s gonna be some time before we get to play Cyberpunk 2
Live service has become the new Loot box problem. Everyone's hating LS now. PS cancelled a ton of games so at least they know it's going down hill now.
I would love a multiplayer option, but not a "live online" experience. I mean multiplayer in the sense of old-school DOOM and Heretic, Neverwinter Nights, etc., where I can host a game and my friends can join my self-hosted session. Conan Exiles does this (also a UE5 game) and it's by far my preferred "online" paradigm.
From the job listings that doesn't look like it's happening, and I'm cool with that, but I will be keeping my fingers crossed for the one after….
Cyberpunk 2077 being my favorite game of all time is taht because of single player. I fear if they went "Online" we would have a GTA V disaster of cheaters etc etc. The Sequel will be mine to enjoy via the single player
We can customize our own cars? Because without that, no matter how good they made a DLC, i still really decepted, because i only pre-order the game because, it looking amazing, also has high customization on character and cars, both lies… Soo, i not will put any cent on cdpr game before watching it working and fleshed out… cyberpunk was a blast, still totally decepted me, without marketing i will love the game much much more, because was not based on lies
I just will tell you, if they put 3 person option, that is optional, is fine to me, but if they force me into third person, i totally drop cyberpunk as a whole universe. I want all costumization, but i only want to see myself in mirrors and reflections, any time the camera goes out of my eyes character, i got out of my immersion, okay, if i'am controlling a robot, and has some view link it is fine, but i not want use third person, the game can have entire third person and third person cutscene, if they keep first person as well option in, to people like me that lost all immersion when it goes out of first person
A CO-OP Multiplayer (crossplay) Mode would be nice. Imagine you and a friend or another player hop in a mission together or heck.. do the whole story mode together.
I NEED 3rd person!!!! I HATE 1st person. If I create an outlet, it's pointless, if I do a move I barely or don't see it. If I get shot from behind I have to turn getting shot 40 times before I shoot once. For the people who like that, make it a choice. I'm just saying I love the story, but hate the view….
Personally no to pvp. pvper's have a habit for making the game worse with their endless 'balance' nonsense which normally means they want their game style to be dominate.
Cyber psychosis subject is getting old. Truthfully, it is in Cyberpunk 2077 already from start of the game. Based on Mike Pondsmiths idea 1) take your character anywhere. Better when there is a lot of people. 2.) feel like your character is god like and nothing can hurt you (or some other excuse) 3.) Kill everything around you, until the NCPD and their elites come and stop you. There congratz you have Cyber psychosis.
First
It's been awhile… How's everyone been doing?
No dragon’s dogma 2 content?
HOT TAKE: Cyberpunk Orion will be able to compete with GTA 6
Need to get back into playing this game again…
I have a feeling CDPR will be using red engine as a test bed for features , then they'll port or mimic those features over to Unreal Engine . Then the positive, well benefit from these small patches like we've been getting . Just my guess……
Robbyyyy ❤
i can't play the game since partch 2.11
I really hope they go for a more open story. 2077 felt like getting railroaded into a character no matter what you do.
Love cyberpunk 2077 I think they should of stuck to there red engine all the work they've done just to throw it all away start agen makes me a bit nervous and ye make it a good single player game not every game needs a tacked on multiplayer

Let me talk about the new cyberpunk Codename Orion without knowing anything about it because the devs didn’t told anything about it.

Thanks for the update choomba!

Hope it has the Crystal Palace
Wondering Orion will be on current gen 🤨

Hooray! So de we get to wait another 8 years for this game too?
It will end up being too woke. Not really interested unfortunately.
Phantom Liberty pained me simply because I had Panam, losing her pained my soul 😭
I hope the UEVR Injector will work with Cyberpunk 2077, allowing us to play it in VR since it uses Unreal Engine 5. But you will need a monster of a PC hehe.
Glad to see you doing better bro 🫡
They just need to avoid " Consultants " like SBI and they will be ok

They spend so many years on their engine and assets and now a New engine for the sequel? Okay so another 10 year wait
Live service has become the new Loot box problem. Everyone's hating LS now. PS cancelled a ton of games so at least they know it's going down hill now.
If I can't pet a cat or dog in the game, I'm not getting it. Pure joy when I did that the first time in 2077

My question is can you even call it a sequel? If it doesn't continue the story from the original can it even be called the sequel

I am pretty sure I asked you not to show your face. You don’t listen very well.
