In this video I’ll show you how to save Sampson and get both reward vehicles in The Beast in Me in Cyberpunk 2077.
If you choose the correct dialogue and actions during the quest you’ll be rewarded with Claire’s car, The Beast, as well as Sampson’s car, the Type 66 Cthulhu.

First you need to complete the three qualifying races, placing in the top 3 in at least two of them. The races are in City Center, the Badlands and Santo Domingo.
After the 3rd race in Santo Domingo, Claire will let you know that the reason she is racing is to avenge her husband Dean, who was killed in the previous year’s race by Peter Sampson. She will ask for V’s help to get revenge on Sampson. You need to choose the dialogue option “My priority’s winning.” Otherwise you will not be able to get both cars.
During the final race you need to follow Sampson’s car when he goes off the track. He will wreck his car and Claire will pull a gun on him. During this confrontation you need to choose the timed dialogue responses and then ask Claire to spare Sampson.
If you chose the wrong dialogue after the Santo Domingo race, Claire will execute Sampson and you will not get both cars. However, if you did everything right Claire will spare him and you’ll get the Cthulhu and the Beast as a reward.
After the race skip ahead 7 days and Samspon will text you thanks for saving his life and give you his car as a reward. It will automatically be added to your vehicle list.

I counted 63 days skipping time and there were days I skipped but didn’t count. Claire didn’t kill Sampson but Sampson still hasn’t texted me to give him his car.
WOULD BE NICE IF I COULD GET THE FUCKING FIRST RACE TO START. This game is actually painful to play. Nothing works how it's suppsoed to, beyond frustrating, figured id give it a try with 2.0 but nope still shit quests stuck behind "wait for so and so to contact you" and they never fucking do.

nahhh I saw Sampson's car destroyed right after that and there was no chance to get his car and I had nothing left to spare for him. I should have watched this video before doing that mission.😢
Nice racing event but that last quest just ruined it for me. Not only that, I also didn't convince her for some reason and she killed the guy anyways

New update changed the time it took to get the vehicle in your garage. I did a mission or two and skipped around 3 days and got the car
After 2.0 the Chthulu is available on the Auto-fixer
claire gotta be one of the most disgusting characters in cyberpunk
has anyone here dealt with cyberpsychos ambushing you while doing the mission. after i follow sampson and he crashes. once i get out of the car i get ambushes. i can't even draw my weapon or continue the mission? any one got a fix?

Thanks for this video. I had to go back a fair bit once i realized i did it wrong, i think I used the IGN guide initially. Left out some steps/was not specific so i missed out the first time.
