In this video I play Cyberpunk 2077 2.0 and the Phantom Liberty DLC on 2 of the minimum requirements cards for the game: The GTX 1060 6GB and the RX 580 8GB! I tested them at 1080p, using the Low settings preset as well as the Steam Deck settings, with and without FSR 2.1!

  1. I own that model of Rx580 8gb, it's kept in a drawer now as I have upgraded a few times since then but I haven’t enjoyed a Gpu more than that Rx580. At one point I had two of them in a Crossfire config, The games that supported it ran great but when under full load the case sounded like it was going to start hovering from all the fan noise. I installed as many fans as I could in that massive Antec 1900.

  2. I very much like this format where you test two competing cards. Now is a good opportunity because GPU names lost their meaning and are only competing in price, eg. 7800XT vs 4070. I hope you can do it more often.

  3. I moved to another city and took my old 1070ti computer with me and 1080p monitor. I didn’t use fsr before, because it wasn’t needed (on main PC), and I want to say that compared to the native resolution, fsr looks terrible, maybe it's because of cheap ips monitor. As if in version 1.61 the fsr was much clearer, but this is just speculation

  4. It feels so weird, when you actually ultra-modded Cyberpunk, use the best state of the art graphics/texture and lighting mods for the game, while running every setting maxed-out with Path Tracing and Psycho reflections in 4K with DLSS quality and then compare this to the vanilla game at low settings.^^ Don't get me wrong, it still holds up great and still looks noticeably better than Starfield for comparison sake, but comparing my game to this is almost as if it's not even the same game anymore. I don't intend to flex, honestly, just thought I point it out. Maxed-out Cyberpunk with multiple great graphics mods for textures, LOD, much bigger crowd density, improved/fixed Pathtracing and Lighting visuals, is just on a completely different level. Man, I love this game and the versatility modding and CD Project Red's updates have brought to Cyberpunk over time. 😀

  5. That these cards are both still usable speaks to the power of competition. I still have a 570 in a place of pride on my shelf. I plan on using it in a retro build in a few years.

  6. I love this testing format you conducted in this video and would love to see more videos like this comparing gpu's! Maybe in the future if you buy an RX 7900 XT you could compare the RTX 4070 Ti/RTX 4080 to the RX 7900 XT! I would love to see that comparison since I'm currently using an RX 7900 XT at the moment!

  7. i got a superspecific new test, maybe here we guys can figure it out, so:

    What looks better:
1080p dlss quality vs 1440p dlss performance.

So far as i can tell, 1080 gives u more fps but truly 1440p on performance is looking just a little better. but it is kinda hard to test. as i am not as good in seeing that stuff than many people.

  8. Turn on SAM with rx580 (yes it supports if your system does with registry mod) & you would get another 10% boost in fps for Cyberpunk. Undervolting can bring down power to 110-115 watt range.
