  3. Thanks. Some of us have put several hours into our 50 characters before the expansion (loads of cash, all the cars, cyberware etc). I just checked – 529 hours 49 min spent here. I probably will make a new character eventually, but for now I want to finish the expansion with my existing characters (at least for my main Streetkid, Nomad and Coro). The only thing that holds me back is the Cyberware capacity bug. Not that I need high levels of cyberware to finish the expansion, but I enjoy optimizing my characters (without mods, cheats and/or exploits – unless really desperate lol), so for now the game is parked until it's patched.

  4. For me starting a new game was the only way to get this glitch to work, or to have ANY cyberware capacity shards drop after finishing the main story and starting Phantom Liberty.
    While I understand ppl not wanting to have to replay the game and having to re-acquire everything, for me it’s worth it for the ability to have all the top tier cyberware installed.

  6. Thanks you! – liked and subscribed. With my first character I was able to do this max level, but since I had already beaten the game, I started doing the dlc which you see these shards drop more often if your under 200. I brought my cyberware below 200 and they started dropping frequently.

    I then decided to start a new run, but made the mistake of staring from the base game instead from PL and was not seeing any capacity shards drop after numerous attempts. I saw your vid and decided to try to start a new game from PL and followed your guide and I can say that it absolutely works. Right off the bat I got a cyberware shared. Tried again to get it with eddies and got it on the third try! Thanks, this guide was a huge help. Also, as you mentioned, I had issues doing the glitch with my weapon out. After reloading and putting it away, it worked like a charm. 💪🏽🙌🏽

  8. I have two questions.

    1. I found a NPC carrying a shard and another item. When I travel a certain distance, the NPC randomly disappears. How can I travel a greater distance like you did in the video?

    2. You said it's harder to do the glitch with trash cans and containers. There aren't any junk cars that are near the area I am in. Can I do it with a regular car I find on the street, or does it have to be a junk car? And can I still do the glitch with a trash can instead of a junk car?

  10. okay, so I have figured out the problem, you only get shards from starting from phantom liberty, if you just do the regular new game E.G. not starting at phantom liberty, you WONT have shards spawn, no matter what. I have been testing this out on my Xbox, and that seems to be the biggest thing preventing it. the WHY however, that's whats gotten me stumped…
    Edit: I was testing this out with the 2.01 update.
