So its sort of like a spicy China Lake lol. I just picked up the iconic one last night, cool to hear its chambered in a real size instead of just "lol, really big" haha. Its kind of funny to me that its in the same category as all the other shotguns, which means it shares an ammo pool with the humble double barrel
The jump in velocities from 12 to 10 to 8 to 4 gauge is not as much as some of you may think. Putting dense material as shotgun projectile is nowhere near as beneficial as you may think. Last I heard 4 gauge was used in ground SONAR mapping, and that was among it's most common actual use. Loading A 4 Gauge or 8 Gauge with cannister shot could be A good use since it is BAD to load cannister into A 20mm grenade launcher.
I love how the shotgun that would realistically break someone's shoulder is the one freely available in the player's stash at the beginning of the game.
In game guts is my last resort gun because my build is centered around it and the game would be too easy with it , even smasher was like 3 mags give or take
I imagine that with a long-recoil system and stock buffer like the FG-42 to soak up some of that recoil, you really wouldn't need cyberware to tolerate firing a semi-auto version. …but I'm not so sure that there's any reason to use a 4-bore shotgun, rather than something like a 7.62 NATO or 8mm Mauser semi-auto rifle which would be more likely to defeat body armour. The pattern-spread from the distances shown in the clip would be minimal, basically hitting more like a frangible slug than a pattern of pellets.
What Cyberpunk gun should I break down next?
This was one of my favorites
It fits Rebecca perfectly

My only dislike it the fact that I can’t use it as a melee weapon
Now paint it bright blue and hand it to a psychotic gremlin.
So they made a futuristic KS-23?
And Rebecca's has so much kick you can negate fall damage
Does the gun just yell "get fucked!" Every time you pull the trigger.
imagine a gun that literally requires a reinforced shoulder being produced by "budget arms" 😅

Mmm the utter mess of using Guts, nuff said.

I definitely want to see that new Tsunami sniper from the DLC covered. Or maybe the Slaught-O-Matic (and the HA4 Grit.)
Now let see if we can saw it off.
FIX THE EDITING!!
Ah yes, the 4 Guage shotgun from the future
Day 31 of asking Marcus to review Tau pulse weapons
4 Bore for more doors!
I will refer you to Scott from Kentucky Ballistics, who has fired a 4-bore. Made a hell of a mess with it too.
4 Bore Slug used by scott teared zombie in half in real life.
'So this gun can pop your sh-'
Scott: I'LL TAKE YOUR ENTIRE STOCK
Ah yes the fu*ck everything in that general direction
That is a handsome looking shotgun
In a world of personal sized railguns, smartguns and limited directed energy weapons, conventional firearms had to stay relevant somehow.
How many buckshot projectiles can fit in a 4 guage
Just the kinda gun you need when some laced up scav comes by to kelp your organs
I was using this thing in a fight, and started spam clicking.
Long story short: it essentially slam fires
I like using it because the sound so good
I love the carnage.
I never seemed to find a carnage that was worth a damn, also always thought it's sound was rather underwhelming
In game guts is my last resort gun because my build is centered around it and the game would be too easy with it , even smasher was like 3 mags give or take
Budget Arms, for when you spent all your money on body mods but still need to blast people to shreds.
This is basically the Arbities shotgun from Warhammer 40K
Deplted what now? Thats not a shotgun by normal standards thats a light tanks gun

So a 4g gauge depleted uranium buckshot would probably make a mockery of most body armour?
I can see this thing having uses in universe. Anything bit doesn't kill will sent flying!
CYBERPUUUUUUUNK !!!!
KS-23: just exists
The perfect gun for psychotic little girls who weigh barely double the weight of the gun.
Isn't for shotgun, small number meaning bigger bullet diameter or something like that?
You should talk about Adam Smasher Vs. Juzo from NoGunsLife.
It's definitely made for the heavy weight cyber were
"You'd need tricked out cyberware to use this without blowing off your whole arm"
Judy with a modded Carnage: "Say it ain't so"
