Netrunning is still fun, but definitely not as broken. Gonna miss killing groups of people in literally seconds–effortlessly. I debated if I really wanted to install this update since I made it so far into the game.
Well these early build runs are going to take some work and adjustments. Cyberdecks have all gotten re-hauled so the Rippler is not as good since they took out the 75% upload speed. The Raven now has pretty good spread, so I am going with that for now because quickhack spreading is still the way to go. I think RAM recovery is going to be the new standard when it comes to making these builds–so my focus was getting perks/cyberware centered around RAM recovery/cooldown speeds. RAM cost has been increased to where it makes ultimate hacks not really worth it anymore–combat hacks will be the way to go (in saying that I will probably remove Suicide).
Contagion/Overheat is a meta combo that everybody will be using. Short Circuit doesn't have the insane dmg it once did, so critical dmg applied when using it (cyberware) did not seem worth it to me. The cyberware that gives you 3 RAM when you defeat an enemy also got nerfed to 1.3 or something. Just not worth the slot cost now, and probably better to go with more RAM units. Speaking of cyberware, it also took a hit somewhat. I do like that you can equip anything you want now, but there is a limit on how much cyberware you can handle. The edgerunner perk gives you some wiggle room, but at the cost of some health points. V is super squishy and playing on hard I just didn't feel the need to explore this option as a netrunner.
So what should you be looking for? Well I am no expert by any means, but maybe I can stir people in the right direction. The air dash perk so good–no really. Unbelievably good. There is a perk that makes air dashing 0 stamina cost, so you know what that means? No reason to ground dash anymore. In the video, you see me jumping around a lot, abusing it, and making V extremely hard to hit. Second heart cyberware is a must now, no reason not to equip it since it has 0 requirements (still gotta shell out the cash though). For netrunners, you want to focus on the perks that offer faster cooldown/upload speeds. Do not waste points on the perks that offer 1 RAM recovery in the intelligence tree–not nearly enough to counteract the higher RAM cost. If you want RAM recovery, then cyberware is probably going to be your best bet. The stuff that you want is lower RAM cost the closer you are to an enemy, 50% extra upload speed, finishers that lead faster uploads, etc. etc.
For weapons, I chose the electric monowire. Should do some nice extra dmg to machines–Lastly, it appears they took out the cold blood perk/stacks. Gonna miss that ride, I didn't even get to try out the cold blood LV20 perk 🙁
Out of curiosity why did you upgrade the sword skil tree or did you just have extra? Early game is destroying me rn. It got a bit better with the quickhack queue but I put a few points into smart weapons to survive lol
Stealth netrunner has been full buried in the dirt now.
If you want to be a full netrunner, likely put 20 into Int and choose either Reflex or Tech as your secondary. The monowire isn't very powerful, and you're better off dipping into blades. The blade tree offers a lot of movement speed and mitigation, which is what Netrunner V needs, since they are so squishy now.
Alternatively, you can do Cool and spec into Snipers/Precision rifles. You can drop your hacks from far away and then pick of any survivors with the sniper rifle.
But being a pure netrunner and just destroying entire compounds with Contagion and Suicide is no longer possible. Makes me very sad that CDPR has such a hate boner for netrunner builds.
A good combo, once you get to 45+ in netrunner skills, is combining legendary synapse while overclocked. Ram gets reduced by a large amount if you kill a target, and the more ram used up, the more damage synapse does. Even on Very hard, it can one-shot elites, and if it spreads, its killer. But it requires overclock to be active, so its a small window of burst unfortunately.
Feel like mechanically they added a lot but the numbers just arent there. Oh wow you can stack 100 quickhacks now to do 1/10th of the damage of a melee build.
Can you explain why you put so much effort into Blades under Reflexes? I was under the impression that the monowire no longer counts as a blade with 2.0.
You are not really utilizing overclock and quickhack synergies. With overclock you can keep spamming hacks without ram, just need to build around health regen with points in body and cyberware. You can still spam the shit out of quickhacks if you just use your health and regen.

Look what they did to my poor girl! 😭
I'll play with it a bit more but it seems I'm gonna have to abandon it and switch to Stealth sniper/ pistol + katana.

Can you tell where can I find raven microdeck ver 3 ? I’m act 2 and haven’t seen it anywhere!
u should call this build the netdancer build
RIP breach protocol and old net-running.

They nerfed this build to the ground where it’s not fun anymore but a liability to use.
wtf u doin u dont need monowire, just que burn with overdrive and ur done u dont even need pull your gun
I had a "Netrunner Chad" build. Essentially intel/body but I don’t think it’ll work anymore

This is not netrunning. This is just some kind of reflex ninja melee build with some hacks added in.
