This music plays during the Side Job Quest Mission “Chippin In'”, where a reluctant V lets Johnny take over their body for an evening of fun.
I couldn’t find a clean audio rip of this anywhere online, so I dug through the crates, so to speak, and compiled it myself. This music isn’t on the official OST, and I don’t think it has a known title, but one of the composers stated it was “a rave remix of some of the classic Samurai songs mashed together,” so we’ll go with that. The remix has parts of “Chippin’ In” as well as “The Ballad of the Buck Ravers.”
The original audio files were separated into many pieces so I strung them together as cohesively as I could to make a song, apologies in advance for any errors/imperfections.
The song and sequence in the game were directly inspired by The Prodigy and their infamous music video “Smack my Bitch Up.” Please enjoy!
