  1. For the gig "Welcome to America, Comrade" I usually go in via a small gate that you can pull off its hinges, down the alley to the left if you are facing the main gate, if your tech is high enough and stealth my way around the left side along the fence. I usually cannot jump over the fence though as I most times do not have either of the jump options installed yet.

    Edit:
The ending I got for "Backs against the Wall" on my first play through caused me to shut the game down and come back to it about 2 weeks later because it shocked me that much. It still unsettles me greatly even now to be very honest, I think because I do not think that the result I got is a solution (managed to talk him into giving up the Baloparidol).

  2. Wow, series really motivates me to play all of the side gigs. I appreciate that you have thoroughly researched these missions! I completed Monster Hunter during my first play through at at a low level. It was definitely difficult but it was memorable and I used that dialogue option at clouds. Unbeknown to me at the time😮. Great content and this game is always supervising me on how good it is.

  3. You can also Talk to a "Night working girl" that will tell you about the Cop girl Anna
You have to pay her for the info of course
And It seems that she doesn't like police because she tells you to "have fun"

  4. Being thrown in the deep end with Monster Hunt is putting it mildly. First playthrough I was questioning my life choices in getting invested in this game. There seems to be some confusion about whether Jotaro just gets killed, or gets knocked out and put in the fixer's car trunk. Option 2 is considerably more fraught. Since then I've discovered ways of getting through this one relatively easily…

Killing Taki was always unnecessary. I just Overheat her and send her off. Too bad about her subordinates tho'…pretty tough to let them all live.

Welcome to America is indeed a stealth challenge…it's full of dirty design tricks. Regina's 'rewards' are usually disappointing…she gives you plenty of work, but she's pretty stingy with payouts, esp. considering the trouble and risk you go to.

I've never had to kill Anna Hamill…pretty easy to figure out the peaceful solution. I don't remember ever encountering that Nomad dialogue.

Backs against the wall is indeed an inevitable tragedy. Seems odd that we can't pass the news to Regina about discovering a cyberpsycho on the verge of breaking, and then disable him and pack him off to Regina's mysterious study facility. And what about that invisible shotgun, eh? A half-dozen patches and CDPR still hasn't fixed that up?

Shark in the water is a good melee job for picking up XP points. I currently have it an an unfinished gig because I couldn't put Blake's body in the trunk of a car that never showed up. Very frustrating to completionists. There doesn't seem to be any way not to seemingly trying to strongarm Roger yourself…embarrassing.

Small Man is a very fun fight, although tricky to complete by stealth. Much of the loot there, including an Ashura rifle can be picked up earlier if you feel the need [too early and you won't have the Level EXP to use the Ashura tho'].

For me, Last Login often appears simultaneously with Sandra Dorsett's off-book gig to find her data bank. Very confusing…seems like lazy game design to me. I never feel the urge to save money dealing with the evil ripperdoc…worse than Fingers IMO and much worthier of being, er, put out of business, so to speak. There's usually some kind of Legendary weapon on this site…not a Pohzar for me, so far however.

Concrete Cage is a new gig with Patch 1.6, and I am quite sure that Tiny Mike is going to be V's new best friend in Phantom Liberty. I question why he has that nickname…5'10" is far from tiny [Hey! I am 5'10"]. Here's hoping it not just the girls calling him that. He doesn't look very Asian to me either. It's a pretty fun gig with lots of ways to approach it…speak to a couple of street idlers for a hint about how to bypass the Militech at the doorway entrances. I didn't initially find the Hypercritical rifle very impressive, but there's a new mod on Nexus that allows you to put a scope on it…and suddenly it's a new favorite, although the limited magazine capacity is a demerit [but there's a mod for that too].

Fixer, Merc, etc. is a serious challenge, at least until you acquire some Optical camo. That helps a lot…pair it with Sandevistan and it's a dawdle…almost too easy. System Reset quickhack will give you all the leisure time you want to explore [and loot] the apartment. I find it amusing that in the Cyberpunk universe, the Soviet Union is still in existence.

Ummm…is the destruction of the Glitter drug lab not part of this grouping?

  5. I've read that "Echoes of the past" starts with fight if you kill Gustavo Mota before Jackie's funeral. It won't work if you do the gig after. Is it true? Could you check that out?

  6. Tiny Mike (Kowalski) may be named after the recurring character from Ren & Stimpy; the giant lummox guy who is basically a human gorilla – makes the Animals look small. A funny reference for a guy nicknamed "Tiny".

  7. For the Fixer, Merc, soldier, spy gig I was really surprised when the Chinese used Cantonese instead of mandarin, cuz I always known and believed mandarin was the commonly known Chinese outside of China. Definitely a surprise to me and me like that gig alot more

  8. Considering that feedback circuit seems to be glitched, for some reason, Killing Buck comes to me as easily as Breathing and Punching Fingers

Also Fixer, Merc, Soldier, Spy. Interacting with the Russians in any way before the heist, removes them from the hall way outside the Lapus Lazuli suite.

  9. Something you didn't pick up on: Fixer, Merc, Soldier, Spy is a reference to the Cold War novel "Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy" which is fitting because it's a Russian-themed gig.

  10. Really enjoyed this. Even if you read every shard, it’s hard to remember all of the references out of context. Was super fun to see how all the story threads link up – really nicely done!
