Hey! It's Lazlo Meel!
Lol what is next? The rock and Vin Diesel?
4:59 E também pq o próprio Mike Pondsmith já disse que o Morgan não vai estar na DLC.
The woman is Rosalynd myers
I am not sure how the dlc fits in with main story. Can anyone explain?
My favorite part has to be the new mantis blade combat. With all due respect we've already seen how pretty Cyberpunk can be and how it sits right now still reminds me of a beautiful painting. My biggest question right now is does Phantom Liberty effect other areas of the game or is it just isolated to Pacifica?
I like that it’s near the pacific so it will have more African culture
Whatever this expansion is I’m sure I will short circuit my way to the end and pick up 1,000,000 items that I will never use
What is NUSA/Militech going to offer V to do this? Extend his/her life or blackmail? Reminds me of Snake Plisken.
The elevator scene is giving me Akira vibes 😍
I think that this mask that the ripperdoc is installing is a face imitating somebody important and V is going to be disguising as someone important to do some spy work. I recall CDPR saying that Phantom Liberty is going to be a sort of spy thriller so I think it makes a lot of sense for V to act as a spy in this case
Thought you'd say something about the transport fight that was shown in the trailer).
Federation Internationale de l'Automobile LOL
Morgan Blackhand dude looks little like Michael Rooker.
sorry m8, don't have space on ssd for both cp2077 and new tw3 so cp2077 has to go
This teaser has me excited!
I'm not a 100% sure but I think FIA stands for Federal Intelligence of America but this does look really cool. It will be nice when we get some more details, Idris Elba though, great actor.
Want this released already so they can start developing the next in the series! Looks like it's going to be an awesome expansion, can't wait to see the new area
This is a total long-shot, but WHAT IF:
Phantom Liberty actually occurs after the events of the main game. Given that CD wants to make a sequel to cyberpunk (eventually), it could serve to reunite the divergent story lines. We know that Johnny is in V's head during the phantom liberty story, so maybe there are different plot points to reunite the two depending on the choices you made in the main game. If you chose to let johnny go into the void and took V with the nomads or to the space station, you end up learning the only way to save V's life is to experimentally reunite johnny's consciousness with V's. Or if you let V go into the void, johnny discovers he can save V, and in a surprisingly caring act, johnny does save V. Or if you chose to trust Arasaka, they end up being true to their word and save V's life by forcing the two back together, which would lead to high levels of antagonism between the two during the events of the expansion.
Like I said, a big long shot. But it would allow one singular ending they could then build on for the sequel, rather than having to start with a bunch of divergent plot lines
John Carpenter's "Escape from Night City"
Excellent breakdown, the expansion looks brilliant, 👍👍👍.
Take care.
100% new kill animation for the mantis blades.
That's what I like about this expansion – at least for the teasers we've seen so far, it looks very different from the main game. And to be honest I much prefer the vibes of the main game with all the neon lights and stuff, but this one looks a lot more grim and more dystopian so it adds more flavor to the game.
They will add Blackand in Cyberpunk 2077 II
The AV plane is meant to be Air Force One. The president’s plane. So the “very important person” it was likely transporting was the president.
Idris Elba not being Morgan Blackhand is kind of let down. Not having MB in CP77 is a let down. But I believe CDPR know the weight of that character and are just saving him for the last. Or he's just the only lorewise character who didn't live long enough 🙂
As for the enemies. They seem military themed, but more like a gang not a corp. Lazarus is 2020 was the biggest private army in the world, still paling in comparison to military behemots like NUSSR, China and US. They had a plan to intervene in the IV corp war ( by basicaly wiping out Militech and Arasaka from the face of the Earth), but decided to lay low. Their disposition in 2077 ir rather unknown, but could be similar to that of 2020. Also, in 2020 they were one of the most, if not the most ethical corporation. However, if they happened to get nationalized like Militech, some faction might went rogue. Those guys might also be some rogue faction of Militech or the NUSA military.
As for FYI, it stands for For Your Information 🙂 Or maybe FIA? Federal Inteligence Agency, some kind of the successor to CIA/NSA?
This is will be like Escape from LA and Escape from NY scenario – very important US something something crashed in hostile environment 😀 Sooo, V is like Snake Plissken of CyPu2077 o/
Woke producers: "We need a female and a POC in leading roles. Lets gender and race swap characters in this already existing story we're rebooting"
CDPR: Lets make compeletely new characters in a completely new story and they can be whatever gender and race we want.
Wether it's on purpose or not, CDPR is showing how it's possible to tick "woke" checkboxes without shitting on existing lore or the fans. Amazing what you can do when putting good story and characters first and not having an agenda as the most important thing in your product. Netflix (and others), watch and learn.
For the love of God please add cyberware that actually looks like a robotic arm please I hate the normal looking arms with some black lines on it!!!
Not a big fan of idris to be honest but look forward to the content
can’t wait to see johnny again
Gonna wait for the complete edition, hopefully it won’t be too long after the expansion. Never going to call it GOTY edition!
I think this expansion is bigger than we all thought. Keanu and Idris Elba are big names.
Expensive names.
Obviously it won’t be as big as the base game, but no one’s shelling out that kind of money for those names on a small side project. I think this expansion is gonna be BIG.
So is the dlc taking place before the final mission in the main story? Given there’s no new game plus that’s what I was thinking but it doesn’t really make sense with the main story.
Thanks LKM, this looks sweet! Idris Elba is great, it makes me want to rewatch "The Wire". I hope they take their time and give us something good.
I think you missed the part that they show/teasing Vehicle Combat or shoot guns inside your car,
and that MaxTac shot makes me pretty curious like a teaser of fixing wanted system too?
things that's new to see:
-Car Chase (scripted or natural?)
-Shoot guns inside car (vehicle combat)
-Maxtac, (Wanted level system ?)
I do wish they'd spend less money on Hollywood actors and more on the actual game design.
