  1. The Quest Director guy at CDP is SUPER PUMPED for his job. Gotta love that. Even if this game launched in a flaming dumpster, it's obvious the devs are passionate about their work.

  2. I thought about the weirdness of the release date, but I think 3 days of people streaming the update is good enough for them to get some good publicity, and then folks will come back to it after Forbidden West and Elden Ring.

  3. Regardless whether or not this game is truly "fixed" or not at this point, I still take issue with CDPR's deliberate attempt to deceive consumers with the initial launch. So I still am hesitant to support this company.

  4. I really enjoyed this game, i completed it during version 1.06 (i think) in my decent gaming laptop. I really didnt have any serious issues. Mostly visuals. I probably completed about 90% of everything, but ran out of money to get all the cars. I was never massively hyped about the game because I don't react like that so i think it is probably why i enjoyed so much. I wasn't waiting years for it. I only got excited about it when I finally played The Witcher 3 on the Switch (very early 2020) and was like, ohh that was cool.

About 6 months ago, i bought Cyberpunk for the second time for half price on my Series S. It felt really… off. But, i knew id get the nextgen version update for free. So, I've been waiting for this. I wont jump back into right now. I have a big backlog, but if you never gave this game a proper chance before, i reckon now is the time to check it.

  5. Was this update a complete dud? No one is streaming it on Twitch or talking about it. It got me to finally play on PS5 and I'm enjoying it so far. The visuals are so impressive with HDR + RayTracing. I did get a nice t-pose moment though reminding me that yes it's still Cyberpunk. The controls and menus are so jank. I can't believe "O" is skip dialog, crouch and dodge. I only started and already annoyed that I am comically forced to keep crouching whenever dialog starts.

  6. I've gotta say, it was really funny to hear your guys' (and see the recorded chat's) reaction to Pawel's humor. A lot of his jokes were references to his ongoing commentated playthrough of the game that he's been doing on Twitch that's kind of been the center of discussion for the Cyberpunk community, he's more or less the face of the development team at this point. That definitely wasn't scripted banter, he's just been constantly committed to bad jokes and weird asides for the last year of his life. It was great to see him on this stream, glad that CDPR understands their audience enough to bring him on. I understand why people who were just tuning in for this were confused, though.
