Welcome back to Cyberpunk 2077. In this video we are going through the latest investor call for the game which just shows that this game was a lie. The developers at CD Projekt Red (CDPR) did their job and tried creating the best game they could but the management had other plans, plans to ignore everything they were told about the old gen base consoles, the Xbox One and PS4 and just release the game anyway and not only that…
If you decide to read through the investor call yourself just look at how much the investors are wanting to know about the sales of the game, all they care about is their money which is quite obvious but it shows they don’t care at all about anything else and they have no patience or chill. I really hope Microsoft do the same thing as Sony and offer refunds, the same for retailers. People paid money for a broken product and deserve their money back at the least!

It's also the Dev's like seriously this game was supposed to be in development for 8 years. I alone could have made the game 1:1 as it is now in probably 5-6 years. It's just a giant scam.

I was just thinking myself that the big patches might also be delayed and i wouldn't be surprised if after "patch #2" that they completely drop the game. If they do, then they lied again when they said "The cost of fixing Cyberpunk 2077 is "irrelevant" compared to restoring company reputation"

I play on xbox one s and I've been lucky. Had a few crashes and 1 glitched mission putting in over 100hrs into the game. Whist some blame can be placed on the investors and upper management for rushing the game out the door before fully testing it. You have to acknowledge that the game has changed drastically since its orignal trailers and game play demos along the way. Essentailly being remade to include the johhny silverhand narrative. This I think impacted more on the overall gameplay experience because for the most part a lot of players can deal with bugs and glitches knowing most will be patched out in time. But the cut content and showcasing features throughout the year that are absent from the game is what a lot of us are more upset about. If they wanted a johnny silverhand story they should have held off and put that into its own dlc. Dont get me wrong I love playing the game with Keanu Reeves. But they stripped so much out of the game to fit him in to the point now the game is a mere skeleton of what they promised it would be. I'm not mad as I have gotten my moneys worth and am now currently on my second playthrough. I'm just disappointed in what could have been.

I wouldn’t give developers a pass. They knew exactly what state the game was and all the lies accompanied with it but didn’t say anything didn’t tell anyone just collected their pay checks and went along with it.
I don't have the game installed after having so many crashes where it corrupt the video card drivers on my pc. I'm done with these companies I can wait for games to be released an see how they turn out.
I guess you dont understand the basics of how development of games work. A game like Ghost of tsushima, God of War, etc. Are design for specific hardware specifications.Less resolution needed which makes it less demanding, lesser textures and computing power, those demanding games are less complex overall and easier to make with better graphics because its less to render in space. Therefore can have a little more invested in graphical details which in the end mostly will be output in 60hz tvs. Meaning, development of those games dont take in account new technologies like Raytracing. This game is not GTA. The scale of this game is massive and complex. Textures are super high resolution. On top of that is open world loading spaces constantly with lots of people, effects, lightning, shadows, day/night cycle,etc. This game will never run fine on older gen consoles. Too many sacrifices to be made. The game should have been PC and maybe next gen exclusively. Even using a tv for playing it is an aberration to how complex and beautiful this game is. Saying that the game was a lie its an absolute exaggeration. On top of that, people forgot that 15 years ago when games were developed for PC, we had to optimize our PC for the game too. Im running this game just fine on GTX 1080 ultra, no stutters, no framedrops, minimal glitches or bugs. Cause I optimized my settings. But kids nowadays think everything should work out of the box or its bad. I get it. CDPR is on the wrong here. They shouldn’t had released it yet. Never should had been sold on last gen consoles. Not worth the money even. But saying the game its a lie, its a lie in itself. This rant is garbage pandering to feed the newest rage on the market.

People keep praising the story and saying it's good but I'm like how can you enjoy the story when it's so buggy. People also say PC is the best way to play, why? It's just as buggy. Is it because graphics.
I seriously hate people who's argument boils down to graphics, fallout nv looks like ass but is a far superior game to cyberpunk that the pc master race praise because "it's the new crysis". Graphics mean nothing if your game doesn't work and cyberpunk doesn't, it just looks pretty like a reflection on water and will break the moment you touch it

this video should be at least 1 million views…. so all that cyberpunk toxic defenders can see what is actually happening… This game is full of trouble, and the devs need to fix it asap.
Against my better judgement, I bought it on release date for pc. After the second delay I knew I wasnt pre ordering it, and after they doubled down on no more delays and delayed it again for last gen optimization I knew it wasnt going to be a day one buy.
Then I realized…there werent any fucking games to play. New gen launches with like 3 games between them, none of which were even new IP's, EA Play merge with gamepass gets delayed the day of release, destiny 2 beyond light on pc gamepass is just ??? along with EA Play at this point.
So yeah sure, why not buy it. No way after all this time can it be that bad-oh fuck me.
The only games Im hyped for are Elden Ring and Fable, and even then until I see explicit gameplay that is not showcase footage Im not preordering let alone buying on launch. Any game for that matter.
I feel you, sad reality is this. The developers spent close to six years working on this cyberpunk project to reveal their progress and direction in a 2018 gameplay demo that was 48 minutes long. Everything in that demo was what they had accomplished so far which was impressive. And the direction that they were headed which was also impressive. All the more reason to be expecting those results. And then Key moment happened.
Keanu reaves.
I love the man but when leader ship got him involved which happened as Keanu reported in the summer of 2018 and he agreed to take on the role as Johnny, leader ship then decided to scrap all of the progress and direction that the developers had been working towards so far to redirect all efforts to make Keanu/Johnny the focus of the game. The original story as you can actually hear some in the demo in regards to Johnny having being killed in 2076, was altered and changed for a more linear focused one where are you as the protagonist are pretty much just a vehicle for Johnny‘s story. The whole thing is about Johnny. Choice and consequences become an allusion and a lie and happened very little beyond the trailer reveals because no matter what you choose the story is going to play out with linear outcomes. You can choose a few of how those outcomes are but it’s all Johnny focused it all relates to him. Prior to the demo it was referred to as a RPG, after the demo with Reeves involvement it now becomes eight action adventure linear game. CDPR is known for their single player RPG‘s which they do very well. That was their whole Witcher series that’s what they do, but once they got reeves involved they scrapped all of that. You can literally go through peoples footage now and see everything that they cut out of the game that they had originally shown and that originally was and still is in the game that is not accessible. What was fleshed out, is now bare bones. Customization that was there has been taken out. Options that were available to you are no longer there. There’s not even a companion system which characters are what make the world feel full and immersive. Basic things that are even in Witcher three as far as RPG or immersive elements are concerned, are not even in cyber punk. They were prior to 2018 demo, and then afterwards they’re all gone. I feel like we very much could have and would have had the game that we all I hoped for and that was intended for and being produced had it not been for them getting Kiana Reaves. Whether it was seen $‘s or just celebrity obsession, the focus of cyber punk quickly turned into the focus of Reeves and that is clearly evident through everything that was taken out or that was changed. And that is such a fucking shame. I really do like the game but it pisses me off so much when I see in every single aspect of it the potential of immersion That was there and could’ve been there if they just continue down that path. Fucking sucks man it really fucking sucks.
The part about the developers….
I don't agree, they had a time frame given to them by the management team, the geeks obviously had problems within their crew OR they said yes to an impossible task. They also need to take responsibility. Right?

CD project Red straight up "Bethesda'd" themselves imo. CP2077 feels almost like an interactive CG movie at times. I can't imagine firing the game up and playing for fun.
Witcher 3 was decades ahead of this "game".
