  1. Thanks to everyone for the support over the last few days. We'll be talking about our recent kerfuffle with Nvidia in a video in a few days, so stay tuned. Until then you can enjoy Linus blast Nvidia a new one in the latest WAN Show

  2. Plot twist… Cyberpunk won't actually be playable until 2077!
But seriously guys, don't buy this shit. CDPR can't even make a character creation menu. You can't even adjust the height of your character.
Dungeon dwellers made Skyrim mods more detailed, you can even share your presets, and make NPC's out of your creations in the game… Cyberpunk does non of that, and considering a whole studio worked on this game, how come some noob in a basement does a better job than a whole studio full of paid people?

  3. Some 10 and 16 series cards can use ray tracing, but not DLSS. Of course the performance hit with only one of the RT settings on is high without changing other settings that are set for 60 fps. With my 1660 Super I hit as low as 16 fps trying one of the settings, otherwise I get a solid 60 fps at 1080p.

  4. So why exactly can't you use RT on AMD right now? The AMD cards are DX Raytracing capable and they game should be using that. Seems a little sus to me. Smells kind of like Nvidia timed exclusivity to me.

  5. How much of the lower performance is down to hardware limitations, how much is due to driver limitations, and how much is down to how Cyberpunk 2077 makes use of the hardware available (I'm seeing a few comments from people commenting that CP77 isn't well optimised for ray tracing)? I like to run at maximum quality settings and this video has got me wondering if later patches and driver updates will see an improvement on the fps figures? I'm running a Gigabyte Gaming OC 3060ti and will soon be taking delivery of a 1440p monitor. Should I be looking at upgrading my GPU already? Might upgrading my Ryzen 5 3600 (non-X) or 32Gb 3200Mhz RAM also boost performance?

  6. Every time i see ray tracing in a game i think. f… it. It not that extreme from a optical point. But it needs that much more power. At this state only a waste of money because you need that hardware

  7. Sorry very confused.
First why does fps RISE when you start using better and better DLSS? Shouldn't it be the other way around?
And why test ray tracing with only DLSS quality and not the best DLSS choice?

  8. I would probably move your script further from your face 😂 it’s a bit like you’re watching basketball on the TV behind the camera
    Great stuff though

  9. Just started playing this game. Soo…. you need a 3080 with upscaling enabled to enjoy just reflections ON at 1440P. That leaves out 99% of gamers. Vast majority are on 3060ti or less. It sure is pretty though. But my eyes explode if fps in a game like this goes anywhere near as low as 60. Gotta be in the 70's and up.
