Lead Quest Designer plays Cyberpunk 2077! #15

Read more about Cyberpunk 2077➜ https://cyberpunk2077.mgn.tv

Stream number 15 has been a premiere of a new channel layout, badges and new emotes for subscribers! We have delved into the open world, did few Gigs and minor quests, arrived to Nomad’s camp and played a bit The Witcher 2 at the end, as a small celebration.

Cyberpunk 2077 is an open world RPG that I have co-created. As I love talking about design, storytelling and psychology in games, I have started streaming on Twitch and discussing it all with my audience.

My goal is to share everything I have learned over a decade in AAA games industry, openly exchange ideas, explain creative decisions and encourage the next generation of game designers and storytellers to create.

  1. How hard is it to just come out and say – "so yea we dun have t dlc or anything prepped enough to announce it for quite awhile". Rather than keep on using t carrot on t stick to hype ppl up for nothin.

  3. Gosh, The Witcher 2! I have a strong connection with this game. It was the first Let's Play series I have watched on SargeThePlayer channel, alongside Enemy Front. June 2014 – then I started to become more interested in video games, about which, apart from LEGO games from TT and Batman: Arkham series (I know, nice variety), I didn't know much. Then I appreciated this semi-open structure of the world that really worked, I liked all the political threads and intrigues. And then? One of the greatest passions in my life was born. Thank you for The Witcher 2. 🙂

  4. See Devs bring walkthrough of their own games, speaking of how they made everything is just amazing for me because I love watch how a game was made, from creating the base for the game, the story, the animations (this is what I prefer overall, because I love when the character walk, run, act in a certain manner and I want to know how they made it or why there was a change in the game development, like the walk and run animations of Geralt in The Witcher 3 from the 2014 version) ecc. So thanks to bring us more inside in the world of Cyberpunk 2077. I cannot wait to see you play TW3 Especially for Blood and Wine, because that "DLC" and call it DLC is hard because it's an entirely new game region with new story ecc. I fell in love with Toussaint, every time I restart a New Game I don't want to leave Toussaint because It has something so special, more special than the base game, the characters are incredibly, the quest of Roach is one of the funniest quest I ever played, I don't know how you can even imagined the idea for a quest like this😂 and I want know in fact😁.

The Witcher 2 still has impressive graphics! This game, ah what memories, it was so good and so difficult 😂, if I am correct, in a patch you even reduced the difficult in certen levels? I don't remember at all because I don't play this from long time by now. But, there's one thing that I freaking love about TW2, the armors, God the armors are so beautiful, in fact in TW3 one of favourite armor is the superior Wolf armor, I would like if in the The Witcher 3 next gen update you will add those armour (maybe not all, but one or two maybe?😁) and the possibility to change the swords sheaths? Because I love the one from TW2 and this sheath from TW2 is the same from the first trailers from 2013 of TW3, even the sword that Geralt had in the first 2013 are the same from TW2, I would really love to see those things back even to maintain a sense of continuity from TW2 to TW3, yes I know that someone can reply this just saying "well, it just small things…", not for me, because all the small things makes big the game. Really hope for the next gen update, maybe with new additions like the support for mod on console like Skyrim Special edition for the things I spoke and hope it will fix that damn blue line that appears on the right shoulder of the initial Kaer Morhen armor and will bring back the dust and original color, because after the Blood and Wine patch the armors's color are more colourful, like the Kaer Morhen armor, before that patch It had a mix from dark blue with brown because was full of dust and after the patch the dust disappeared.

  5. Siemka :)) OH i feel so torn apart, on the one hand i would love to watch your streams, but on the other i haven't played the game yet so i dont want to spoil it. Maybe if i just listen to the audio..

  6. Hey Pawel another great stream. Just finished Witcher 3's main story, i got the 'bad' ending but i was aiming for that so i can get the good ending on my second playthrough. Finished Heart of Stone and currently on Blood and Wine. Cyberpunk is a great game and is visually more impressive but imo Witcher 3 is a flawless game, there were so many moments were i was like 'holy shit this is so amazing'. But I'm also aware this is the first cyberpunk which is still being worked on whereas there have been 3 Witchers so not really fair to compare them. I am sure cyberpunk will become a legendary franchise with sequels to come.

  7. it is unfair to ask pawel talk about things he’s definitely not allowed to, the real problem is that cdpr has been silent about patches and dlcs for too long. Somebody has to talk to people

  8. Mr. Sasko, you are the biggest blabbermouth in cyberpunk, you talk a lot and say nothing about it. Stupidity coupled with insolence leads to people like you who think they are very smart. No wonder cyberpunk has failed with such employees and will be avoided in the gamer scene forever in the future. Congratulations on so much stupidity.😇

  9. Awesome stream! I have a hypothetical question. For the next Witcher game, would you prefer to play as
    1. Ciri
    2. Player made character
    3. Some other character from Witcher universe
I personally would love to make my own witcher since that would mean I could make Serrit or Auckes from w2. My favorite tragic characters.

  11. Hi Pawel. The design question. Who designed the avatar on the phone and the character of Evelyn Parker? The designer is just a fucking genius. He / she needs a salary increase.

  12. Thank you for the stream again! This one was full of events, I'd say, with a new channel design and the chat being really talkative. And your Witcher gameplay in the end convinced me to play it after Cyberpunk 🙂

On a side note, you really should automate the responses to the "DLC" questions somehow, so you don't need to response all the time. My warnings in the chat about the "no DLC info" didn't work 😀 So maybe putting it into the description or adding as a bot function would help.

  13. As for the DLC issue, in my opinion you should denied these rumors at the beginning of last week, because for people outside of streams, this situation with Hellman could seem like a teaser of something big, these people don't know about our running jokes with absurd ideas for DLCs, recurring questions etc. 🙂

  14. pawel lol.. please for the love of moses.. when you get the cops you dont have to run away for miles on foot or jack a car. if you take out a civilian by mistake, just go in the building where the mission is or run nearby an enemy and the cops will go away. try to get the badge blinking before you just run away immediately. if it starts blinking, then your standing in a spot where cops will soon go away. kinda gotta get familiar with it.

also can i get a job on your QA team? please i need a job real bad ☺️
