  1. Although I definetly enjoyed the game I do hope that they eventually turn it into what was promised.

And I don't mean just the technical issues I mean the world and gameplay as well.

The world feels empty and sterile with next to no interactibility or random encounters and the combat is WILDLY unbalanced with Armor basically being meaningless

And the endgame definetly needs an overhaul too, with there being basicslly nothing to do….

  2. CDPR didn’t get away with it. They are facing multiple lawsuits. Consumer protection fines in other countries outside of the US. Reputation damage. The costs of having to try to fix all the games problems. Plus the loss of the revenue of the multiplayer plans or GTA V/ Red Dead Online like plans they had for Cyberpunk. What drives these bad decisions is **short term thinking**. But this stuff always damages a Dev in the long term. Anthem, anyone? The damage that CDPR did to themselves won’t show up in a report only looking at sales revenue.

  3. cyberpunk 2077 wasnt really that buggy i only got the t pose over car bug and a few times items got stuck in hands during cut scenes which overall didnt stop me from enjoying the 150 hours i put into the game

  4. At least CD Project Red isn't putting microtransactions in their game. What's done is done. We will all have to make better decisions in the future. Game companies about managing expectations and marketing, consumers about what kind of game companies they want to give their money to.

  5. I never bought the game and now due to what how they released the game I will take four looks at the next Witcher game I'm not so sure I'll ever buy one of their games again because they're combat has always been bad and combat and gaming is just getting better and better so they have no excuses

  6. Dude, I played it on Xbox One X and it was full of bugs and glitches and the freeze… OMG the freeze… and I still enjoyed it more then any other game in the last decade. The world and the story sucked me in, I played 15h a day the first 3 or 4 days. The last time I listened to some hate train campaigns I nearly missed a really great I game I had a lot of fun: Mass effect Andromeda. I will never again support a campaign to boycott or refund a game based on other peoples' opinions.

  7. I didn't. Witcher 3 came out pretty poor on consoles but it runs flawlessly today. And I got it on PC where I personally never had an issue. Just waiting for some of the DLC to come out.

  8. People have faith in CDProject Red that the game will actually be fixed. Not a justification for the game releasing in such a bad state, but the devs have been super customer friendly in the past. They don't indulge in microtransacitions or loot boxes but it does put them on that radar.

  9. Rich: Cyberpunk 2077 Refunds Barely Put A Dent In CD Projekt Red's Bottom Line
Me: CDPR's lack of integrity, poorly executed launch, lawsuits filed against them for corporate / world level INVESTOR FRAUD, and taking it's fan base for granted will ABSOLUTELY "Put a Dent" in it's bottom line…

  10. That’s why I always laugh at the gaming community, complaint about something that’s broken or company doing something shady but at the same time buying a product from a different company that has done damage to the industry for years. It’s crazy.

  11. "We keep buying crap" Cyberpunk 2077 isn't crap just had a crap launch. That is not excusing CD Projekt for pushing it and CD Projekt Red for saying "yes boss" It did need at least a year in the oven and everyone there knew it. However the game itself was awesome. Is it to everyone's tastes? No, but what game is honestly?

  12. assume u never heard of a company called EA that made fifa 1998- fife 2020 if your complaining over then doing this once i should be able to find 10 – 20 million video about a company that made the same game ……… also i should be seeing a few hundred video of how ubisoft has made the same assassins creed game just reskind over and over agin ….. i don't see that many looking backing over the past few years so i cant believe you really care about this

  13. "Guess who bought every single game I just mentioned there…" Well, I can definitely tell you I learned my lesson from Fallout 76. I will NOT be jumping immediately at Starfield, and later, The Elder Scrolls VI. I'll be waiting for reports from MrMattyPlays, Juicehead, etc. I didn't even start playing Cyberpunk 2077 until this last major patch, and the game was purchased for me for Christmas… Even then, I think I get an average of at least 1 crash a day on PS4…

  14. Pc and stadia i believe were the less buggy versions of the game, in the end refunds tend to not be a big hit too many companies, for me its how the audience reacts to future games of said company, remember too there are a large group of people who don't follow the drama and news of games industry and those who don't care about it. 5 people making a big deal of a broken game or whatever doesn't mean the story is getting traction, if 1 million people don't care, it looks like its blowing up by those same 5 people or whatever but in the end it doesn't go anywhere because no one is paying attention after a while

  15. They still made money due to the brand name of CD Project Red based on the quality Witcher games. To truly see the effect of cyberpunk you will need to wait to see how their next game sells. For example, look at how BioWare games don’t sell well anymore

  16. Well I got it on PC when it first came out so I actually enjoyed it somewhat. That said, after finishing it I have had no desire to go back to it whatsoever.
