In the book they are indeed silver slippers, in the film, which used the new colour techniques, they switched them to ruby for visual impact.

In the original Wizard of Oz, the slippers were silver. In the movie they were ruby slippers. (Better visuals? Cheaper?)
You took the longest route. What I did was to go right at the elevator when the guys staring down at the factory floor, hide behind the crates and wait for him to walk. Then down the stairs, and turn right towards the little group chatting. Stealth towards the boxes, and wait a bit, maybe a small distraction away from the door under the stairs to the right before using Tech to open it. Go past the guy in the room with the bunk beds straight towards the door, open it, get in defuse the beumb at return the same way. You made it look clumsy.
